The thing we all fear the most has happened to me, where our most prized toy have been taken away from us.
Please keep an eye out for my car.
Here are the details of the incidient:
-My car had a sensor failure at approx. 8pm on knight street
-I towed my car to RG complex @ 641 Lougheed highway at approx 12am
-Car was seen on video cameras being handled by the thieves at about 2am. They used their own cars to push start the car, the car has ignition problems because of a bad sensor and there is NO WAY it can start.
-4:52am cameras show a tow truck lifting my car and driving it off.
Tow truck was later identified to be from COQUITLAM TOWING.

Not there anymore however, drove by at approx 6pm.
I've contacted ICBC, Coquitlam RCMP. They are investigating. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I know its a long shot for the car to turn up anywhere in the states. But just a post to keep the specific parts on the car.


I circled the area and managed to find 2 of the vehicles in the video cameras, that were at a house located 2 blocks from where the tow truck company dropped the car off.

I asked about my car and they sped off in their cars.


The tow truck company was NOT co-operating when I was asking them questions. I will take that company to hell. My car could not have been stolen without a tow.

Thanks everyone, please keep eyes open for the parts. It most likely will be stripped, but the shell of the car will be hard to dump since it can't move.

if i were you i would contact a lawyer asap and look into pressing auto theft charges against the tow company, and keep bugging the police to make sure they are investigating the other cars in the videos. hopefully auto theft is actually a priority where you live, not like here in socal. best of luck!!!

I hope they will do something.

I asked them, "If I wanted to call a tow, and tow this car to my house will you tow it even If i have no proof that I am the registered owner, or a city offical" They said. "No comment"

Seems to me that technically the towing company stole your car. Get a lawyer and have a demand letter written. If anyone should be out there looking for your car it should be the towing company, they're the ones with their balls on the chopping block.
