Ok guys..my s13 sr is ready to go except I went to start it and got nothing, no clicking...nothing starter isnt even trying..no dead battery starter click either. turns out I didnt disable the starter interlock( park saftey switch..w/e you wanna call it). so I tryed researching how exactly to disable it...got alot of unclear suggestions. tryed the suggested ways ended up blowing some interior fuses(hopefully didnt fry something) so I would like to ask my fellow zilvia members to help a brotha out so I can go slide in this beautiful canadian snow :P

Taken from Heavythrottle.com:

In the engine bay, coming out of the bottom of the S13 fusebox is a pair of thick wires with a single oval grey plug. Usually wire colors are black w/ yellow stripe and white. Connect these 2 thick wires together to bypass the starter interlock.

edit: actually I did do the loop thing...still didnt work?? do I need to do the inhibitor switch wiring to get the car to start. or just the loop??? and to clarify, the wires to loop are black with yellow stripe and the white?? I did this on the connector hanging from the fuse box....im beginning to think its something else. fuck

oh and I forgot to mention my key is stuck in the ignition :ghey:

must of skipped this when I was reading HeavyThrottle :nono:

Remove the steering column cover by the key, and unplug things one at a time until the key capture is disabled and the key releases.

It's easy to figure that one out. Just look for the two wire plug that goes to the locking mechanism of the cylinder. You can also manually push the little metal lever (upwards, I believe).
