Well, my 240 bit the dust.
It overheated on I-5 on my way to work. The engine died coasting down a mountain and now the thing will hardly turn over. All of the coolant boiled out and the engine was waaay to hot to touch.
After I let it cool down it did start but I didn't leave it running long enough to tell how well it was or what kind of noises it is making. I'm sure it must have done some major damage so I'm going to either sell it or trade it in on a newer one (that is what I hope will happen)

The body and body is great shape, a couple minor dings and the paint on the hood and stock rear fin is flaking off though.
The interior is exceptional, except for the driver's side seat has a tear and the dash has one small puncture.
I just put in indiglow gage faces (white face in the daytime) that look real cool too :-(
The rest of the car is stock right down to the wheeles except the Stereo system.

eh, That's just your car telling you it's time for a better motor. No biggie <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
What are your plans for it?

I really do not know at this point. I'm going to go see if any dealers have a newer model arround here. If not I'll see what I can get for mine trade in, if they wont give me much I'll keep it as a project car and get something else. Maybee a Nissan SUV.

Well, it isn't completly dead. I got home and it started up, no strange noises, but the number three cylender isn't working and there is water on the spark plug. I'm thinking blown head gasket, I'm going to fix that and see what kind of shap the rest of the motor is in.
In the meantime I've started the paperwork on a fully loaded '96 240SX with 54,XXX miles for $7500. Is this a good deal?
