I've also seen people use trailer fenders for the arch.

Doood the ultimate baller OG way to get the arches is to steal a 55 gallon garbage can from the street and hack it up.

Its easy to do, just follow these three steps...
Step 1: Cut a hole in that Nissan...
http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h103/gkurey/IMG_1763.jpg
Step 2: Fab some tubs on that Nissan...
http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h103/gkurey/IMG_1765.jpg
Step 3: Weld those tubs on that Nissan...
http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h103/gkurey/IMG_1768.jpg
And thats the way you doooooo iiiiiittttt! /enddickinaboxsong
In all seriousness thats about all there is to it though...get some sheet metal, cut holes in your car, weld it up...and thats it!

Its not for clearance.
Koguchi ran 18x10.5 -15 with a 265/35 on stock tubs.
its so that your fender tubs look pretty.

if you were to totally tub them wouldn't you tub the back of the well also, not just the front?

back helps even less than the front, you'll tap on the frame rail before anything else really and tubbing doesn't really fix any clearance issues.
also you can really screw up chassis rigidity if you didn't tub it right so thats probably why the magority of people avoid it.

A big fucking hammer goes a long way in a wheel well...

lets all decide if you need them in the first place! Post pics of your car, or wheel specs, if it has weak fitment you probably won't need them at all, nor waste your time doing it. GT cars ran tubs, because slicks are tall tire diameter.

well this was just a "i want to know where the hell everyone is getting them and why question" i really don't need them, just wondering where and why. i'm debating/ working on getting a dedicated track car so this way my daily and track car are seperate. but the car i am getting after i rid my self of this rotarded beast, i am going to be running a 17x9 +17 front and rear. and i didn't know if these wheels would contact the frame/wheel well or not in at full lock. i'm not planning on running some stupidly low offset wheels with a massive amount of lip. i'm more concerned about functionality over form. so motor and suspension come first.

and yes i know a hammer goes along way in a lot of place (trans tunnel, rolling fenders, breaking things that are of no use, etc). believe me guys i'm not new to this s chassis thing, i have just been out of them for a little bit.

With 17x9 +17 you won't have to worry about anything.

hey..for $285 why the fuck not, if youve got the motor out and the spare cash/welding skill id totally be down. They look cool and mine are kinda rusting anyways.

yeah man you've been around awhile.
thinking that you'd need tubbed fenders for 17x9 +17 really shows it.

hey sorry i forgot that i don't have 18x12'' wheels on the car with a -20 offset and a stock motor. sorry thats not my thing. i really haven't looked into what fits and what doesn't. i reallt could careless how big your works are, or how flush they are, can you drive the damn thing like it was designed for. can you sling it through a back road like a raped ape, or are you to worried about curbing your 3k wheels. sorry my last 240 had 280hp but rocked 15's. i guess thats not baller enough for experience. i now remember why i left a lot of the bigger forums.

I'm gonna be doing this to my car...I already bought the trailer fenders off Ebay. Not because of wheel fitment issues but it really cleans up the engine bay and gives it a nicer look IMO

i'm running grenades 17x9+15 the two MM's of offset doesn't make a big difference, I could go lock to lock no problem, Just hammer that lip that holds the splash guard in! My tire size is 215/45/17 I have no problems.

Well if you are running 265s on a 10.5 then it might be a problem.

Those are pretty nice, but I'm always weary of people who can't spell.
We have added tabs to the tubs so you can either bold them on or have them welded on permanently.
I prefer to bolt shit in.

1 post ago, I didn't mind you. Now you remind of an overreacting 12 year old.
Now you and that other n00b should fight to the death.
But yeah 17x9 +12 will fit and it'll be relatively nice looking under stock fenders.
Run a spacer to get free handjobs at drift events.
And i'm rocking 16s till I go 5 lug

You can fit 255s in the stock wheel wells no problem.
Anything smaller and you have less than no problem.

sorry for over reacting, didn't exactly have the best day yesterday. i work retail, and everyone from friday wanted a price adjustment for the sale on saturday. i just get sick of people on forums acting like they are suprieror(sp?) to others. i have been into drifting since 2005 and working with s13's since 03-04.

FWIW, I have had some pretty severe rubbage of stock wells with 17x9 +12 up front...tubs, or hammering would cure this...also this is on a very very low S14...tucking tire...
