My KA-T consists of a T25 (7-10lbs.) with stock injectors and pump, it's running great, for now...
I plan to upgrade the injectors and pump eventually, so people on the internet don't make fun of me.

Do you plan on using a fmu and knocking timing back at the distributor? If so you should be cool if you barley whomp on your car.
Why even bother though going ka-t and boosting 4 pounds of boost? Being cheap and fast do not mix. Besides using stock fuel pump and injectors limits you greatly on horsepower numbers and its not safe. You Cant adjust your air fuel ratio's, no timing control under WOT, stock injectors and fuel pump being pushed to their limits.
For like 500 bucks you can find a fuel pump, 370cc injectors and a tuned ecu which would make your car run a lot safer and give you a lot more power. Given it would be a better idea to get atleast 460cc injectors to get your moneys worth out of your turbo setup but atleast with 370cc injectors on low boost applications it will be safe.

Just save up to get injectors and a fuel pump before you turbo it.

Just save up to get injectors and a fuel pump before you turbo it.Yeah, AT LEAST get those + a cheap tune
KA-T is the LAST thing you'd want to rush into.

Don't try and rush putting on your turbo kit. Install it when you have all the right parts. It will be a waste of time and money putting on a half ass turbo kit on your engine. Ive had my ka-t setup for 3+ years. I bought a greddy turbo kit without researching it much. I have now had to dump days of money to fix all the lame ass issues with it. All the time and money wasted because I did not do it right the first time.
Thankfully my engine has not given out on me because I always had some type of fuel control and was able to monitor my air fuel ratios on my plx m300 wideband. But if you try to rush it with a FMU setup your just asking for trouble later down the line.

You can get a Walbro for about $80 on sale, and at least some used SR injectors which usually go for $60 or so, that's what I'm buying.
