Anyone else think the "Two Percent Randomly Selected" test only is bull shit? because all I know is, me and two of my friends all got that this month... not feeling like a random 2% to me.

Test only is NOT random. Basically my friend who is a smog tech says that most cars under 1995 will get test only's almost everytime. They are basically trying to get us to get rid of cars. So don't be surprised its test only every time.

Test only, is just a place where they don't do repairs. Think people only have to goto a ref when their vin is flagged.

Yeah. 240's are what the state calls "gross pollutors," that is why we have to get smog all the time. It is not random.

^Yup mine was declared "Gross Polluter" twice when it had the KA but not with the sr;)

just save up for a truck and trailer. Make sure that truck is 96 and up hahah...

or become a SMOG technician. Its not that hard, pass a few tests to get certified. Open your shop, post it on zilvia, we will all give you business haha. Just let us all pass for $20-40 dollars :)

the state tried to make me smog to get my 08 tags.

i had smogged the year before to get my 07.

i went to the dmv they looked it up and the lady waived it off.
