Member ratings / Thread ratings

I was thinking that a ebay style member rating, somewhere, in the avatar spot or profile, that people could leave feedback about transactions.  This would clear up most posts titled "Beware:" and a lot of mud slinging.  The only problem is that ISP addresses should be kept so scammers couldn't just change screen names easily.

Also, I know FreshAlloy has member ratings and thread ratings, and most people there seem to use them.

good idea..........has been discussed before. i think the issue was that the current software doesn't support it. maybe the new one does? either way, i definitely support this suggestion.

Once again, a good reason why were tryin to move to vBulletin <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Shouldnt be TOO long, im still talking with vB about some bugs im getting when converting. Most problems are with emails and passwords from users with duplicate emails.

Sounds like a great idea to me. About the ISP addresses, i assume you mean IP address, and we already have that. Mod's can see everybody's IP, if it someone is suspected to be using multiple names we can just look at their IP to know for sure. Unfortunately a lot of people still use dial-up and they generally will have a different IP address every time they log on <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

I'm all for the rating of both topics and users. &nbsp;Though a feature to keep the topic starter from voting for his own thread and to keep people for voting for themselves would be nice.

YES, i support this 100% of the way. especially the IP part of it all, my friend Jerry [reals14] juss got ripped off by a person all of us thought was trustful &quot;MARKETPLAYER&quot; i even thought he was trustful cuz i bought something from him right before Jerry did. Jerry even posted it up the Buyer Beware thing and frankly im pissed becuz hez a nice guy and that nobody can help me even the moderators cant do nothing ot help him track down Zac Penn [MarketPlayer]!!! i Hope Jerry finds him and burns down his house! [yes im that pissed]

yes definitly a great idea. im always sketchy from who i buy from.
this is a great way to stop or prevent ppl getting burned on there own risk
