Hello everyone, let's have a norcal meet.

alright, so I'm just gonna throw out a date, place, and time and see what people think. then we can go from there.

Date: Saturday December 1st
Time: 1 P.M.
Place: Lee's Sandwiches at 3311 Power Inn Rd. Sacramento, CA (sorry bay area). In the past I have been to this spot for other meet ups and it turns out great. There is a very nice business lot with a huuuuuge open parking lot for pictures and vietnamese sandwiches are oh so tasty. I want this meet to just be a fun, chill, meet up where we can meet others who love 240's (and other cars) as much as us. We can hang out, eat, take some pictures and then decide what to do from there.

Lee's Sandwich is a great place for a meet. I eat there all the time.

True. Having a meet in the bay would be better. And I know for a fact that a meet in the bay would have a better turn out.

Most of the bay area folks don't want to drive all the way to Sac for a meet because Sacramento is pretty plain. Not much good sight scenes, too much cops, etc. Of course it's just my opinion.

As black240 mentioned earlier, a meet at Treasure Island would be nice.
I'm also down with a Sac meet because I would like to meet local folks also.:D

well I posted up like 4 days before I edited my post to put up suggestions for a meeting spot, where the hell were any of you guys then? I this meet is going to be at lee's sandwiches on dec. 1st.waited a while and nobody said anything so I put up a spot and date. since everyone seems to have input now then I'll just let you guys plan it and I'll attend.

well the sandwiches aren't too expensive and they're pretty darn good. plus they have other stuff like pork buns and the bread is made fresh daily. if you're not into the sandwiches there are a couple other places to eat in that lot plus some fast food right down the street. you should come out, it'll be a good time for sure.

Yea if all the poeple who said they were coming showed up then it would have been a much better meet. But there are almost never any meets in the Sac area, most are in the bay or socal. There are several people in this area, they just decided not to show up. The June Roseville Lollicup meet had close to hundred cars show up, I think we just needed more time to get the word out that there was going to be a meet and it would have had a better turn out.
