Ok. So I ponnied up some cash for an ARC oil Pan. Doesn't clear the front subframe on my datsun project. Will work out for you 240sx guys though. News on the pan. It is used. Has 2 plugs in the bottom. 1 for oil drain second for oil temp meter. This pan also has the correct ARC deep baffle plate. Much better than some dinky hinges as the greddy and freddy pan come with. I went limp when I found that the motor would sit in place with this pan. Price including shipping....... $350.....just a couple dollars more than the greddy pan and belive me this setup is better.

SR20det redtop head with complete intake and exhaust manifolds....... $200.

Crank with 3 rods and 3 86.5mm arias pistons.....replacement piston can be bought from arias for $127.00......$200....obo

complete timing kit.....tensioner, chain, guides with bolts.......$40 shipped

Willing to trade towards a nice top mounted turbo setup. My stock unit doesn't clear the steering arm. Modernizing this damn Datsun is getting to be a pain but I am so close...

I'm looking for an aftermarket oil pan for my s13 sr and am considering going with the Greddy again (I had one on my s14 sr) BTW those "dinky hinges" do work haha.

Please post pics. IIRC the ARC oil pan does not come with baffles.

ARC has an optional item that is a baffle plate. On the stock plate the opening that the pick up uses has a small lip. The ARC plate has a 3 inch lip that hangs down into the oil preventing oil starvation by ensuring oil is right there under the pick up at all times. This is better than hinges slowing oil as it moves.

Having a hard time getting the pics down from over 900 to 500 for the page upload. I know it is a no no to forward pics to interested buyers but if Pm'd an address to send to how could I say no. This is top notch stuff. I have a pic that shows the difference in the ARC and OEM baffle plate. Better yet I could email the pics to someone more computer savy than I to post....

That looks like it replaces the upper and lower oil pan.

Please post pics of the one you are selling.

I hate being computer retarded. The pan above is not what I am selling. What I am selling is more along the lines of the greddy pan. But with different baffle plate. Also I am not sure if the greddy pan has 2 fittings for both oil drain and oil temp.

It does.

Bring the pictures from RHDJapan. Cite them properly though.

Vutony, Thanks for posting the pics for me. My mac and I do not get along. Where did you get your ARC from? The baffle plate was optional when I bought mine.

I cannot remember how much the plate was alone. When I bought my pan it was offered to me. I do know that I paid more than the $350 I am asking now. Willing to work towards some trades.....need 5 speed blacktop ECU, top mounted turbo manifold and an intercooler for starters....

Looks like there is some interest out there. Are there any offers?

TTT also added a timing kit to the original post....I am losing money on the asking price and willing to lose a bit more if anybody has a reasonable offer.

is the timing Kit new???

greenmonster80

Timing kit has less than 5000 miles on it. From a rebuilt motor. Rebuilt for more power and PO failed to upgrade the rods. Lost number 2 and pulled the motor. I bought it for the blacktop head.

PM sent containing tracking number. Sent priority mail so should be there in 2-3 days. Just as we discussed. Dude you must have been burned previously, lowballed me and paranoid about shipping. I told you feel free to check me out.

I am very cautious with my money. You have a low post count. I did my research which is why I sent you my money. I just wanted a verification on the receipt of the money on your side.

You did send me the tracking number promptly though, which I greatly appreciate. Thank you thus far and I will give you the credit you deserve when the transaction goes through successfully.

Still available. It is just 3 of them to be clear. Great for spares or Arias can supply another for a complete set.

Buy with alot of confidence.

I received my pan yesterday and it had to be the best packaging I have ever received.

One thing, I received the plate to the left, but not the one on the right.

To the right is a stock plate. To use the pan as designed the larger baffle of the left plate is needed. If you needed the stock plate that was unclear to me. Pic was used to show comparasion. This pan does not require the hinges as greddy pans.

I understand now.

Do I leave the plate dangling inside the pan?

Am I supposed to bolt the plate into the upper engine pan?

My plan was to apply piquid gasket on the edge to hold it in place inside the oil pan.
