Clutch question K block ?

Well im getting a doble diaphram clutch ( stage 2) or whatever for my 91 hatch and the guy told he would use some pastes double sided called K block or, k bloc idk instead of ceramic and bronze so my flywhee whont get messed up and would grip alot better and last alot longer.

question is. what the hell is that k block material or something.he said its lighter than bronze and ceramic. anybody have a clue ?

Sorry for the spelling on the main thread title. I was just told by the shop that made my clutch FINNALY... that the material is called. CARBON KEVLAR or KEBLAR one of the two lol. anybody heard of this material i got a sweet deal on mine for my KA24DE for $200 stage three. it has a double reinforced diaphram with a carbon keblar double sided paste new pressure plate. Il post pictures up soon... If anybody is interested in one of these let me know we can work somethign out.

it sounds to me they are relining his clutch with carbon kevlar material.

it's the sentence structure that is throwing me off, yes kevlar is a known clutch disc material, what really are you asking?

yeah sorry about the confusing threat that i started. the issue was that i had asked some shop to make me a really good clutch for my srdet. that would handle good and the guy told me he could do me a bad ass one. But the way he pronounced kevlar was k-black ( he was mexican) and i had never heard of it and therefore didnt know squat about the material. so i basicly posted this thread with hopes of someone knowing about the material and such. how it handles etc etc. and i spelled kevlar the way the guy pronounced it sorry haha. but yeah i got hooked up big time here are some pics of it. for more details if anybody is interestd in some for their ka's or Sr.s etc etc
