I gotta s13 w/ some megan coilovers ( yeah i know. ) and ive been driving it for about 2 months on these coilovers and jsut recently i noticed that the pass. side is lower than the driver's side for some reason. I havent lowered the car at all. i just put the coilovers on and left it alone.
It also seems as if the drivers side tire is barely touching the road, and while im driving it seems like the rear drivers side tire is barely catching traction. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? i need fix it fast. my car looks dumby stupid slanted.
thanks for any future help.

you probably werent paying attention so closely to the ride height when you first put them on.
you can adjust the height easily. set the height were you want it on all the sides, and make sure all the collars are tight so they dont move.
the tire might not be touching the ground because your camber adjustment on your tophat is adjusted wrong
have you gotten an alignment since you put them on?

You probably just have a loose collar... Make sure they are all the right/same height.

im having the same problem too
installed the coilover, i checked to see the "height" of all corners, now my rear passenger side tires rubs the quarter panel a bit when i turn lil faster, but rear driver side is perfectly fine

i thought it was common knowledge that s13 has a retarded gangster lean on the rear passenger side? or am i just making excuses for my car...

I'll diagnose and reset your ride height for a price.
PM me and we'll talk.

Measure ground to the top of the fender arch. All 4 corners should be the same.

tire touching less? sounds like your camber adjustment's loose and you just need to get in there and put it back to how you want it.... one day i came out of the grocery store and realize my right side front was lower the the left, and the wheel was crazy cambered... just put it back to match the other side... the car pulls that way too huh? is it front or rear?
prob a loose collar. make sure you get them bitches tight. over time your ride height can adjust by itself.

the whole bottom of the coilover unit unscrews.. and adjusts to control ride hight

Threadjack since OP got his shit answered.. My rear coilovers must have some dirt or something in the threads, the lower mounts are locked on tight. I tried lots of PB blaster, even used the burnzomatic to heat the lower a little... Can't twist the lower half without twisting the piston shaft. Anyone have any ideas that don't destroy the threads on the shock body?

yeah same thing happened i just went to my car in the morning to find it slanted. yeah it pulls to the right all day and it is in the rear.
i havent gotten a alignment since i put the coilovers on either because steering wasnt so bad after i put them on. but now the alignment isso off i could exit the freeway onto the offramp without even holding the steering wheel and it will stay on the road

take off the tires and check if the bottom ring on the coilovers are locked tightly, if its not with all the driving it will adjust your ride height on its own. i had this problem before once and thats all it took to fix the problem.

so just adjust your camber.. and then get an alignment if you need to... just tighten it up real nice... youll be fine.. but its defin that... gl!

installing coilovers and not getting an allignment=retarded.
You ARE NOT getting optimal traction or wear.

+1 to gotta240
and counting coils is stupid
the weight of the car is not perfectly distributed on each corner of the car. you need to set the height manually.

that shit happens all the time with coilovers
1. pb blaster the hell out of it and let the oil soak in for hours or a day or something
2. unlock the lower perch locking collar
2.5 (optional) take a hammer and hammer all around the lower portion. not too hard, but not gentle either. shakes rust loose
3. take two solid spanner wrenches and turn the spring perch and the spring locking collar against each other (or away from each other) as hard as you can. i say solid because ive bent spanner wrenches doing this before
next time apply teflon tape to the threads to keep water out

Azn thanks for those tips, I'll give it another shot when I do my subframe/brakes upgrade.. Never heard of using the teflon tape but that sense!

1) check the coilover mounting points make sure you dont have any room for play or what not and that the coilovers are bolted down securely
2) check your height make sure they are even? lol idk if you did that
3) could be your spring rates get those checked out

+1. and most likely your car handles worse which defeats the purpose of coilovers. oh wait..........some people buy coilovers just/only to lower their car

i didnt just get coilovers to lower my car. iknow i need the alignment. just no free time to go get it aligned
