i got a ton of probs with my sr and i need a good mechanic in sacramento. i went to 4 diff mechanics and non of them wanted to touch it so if u know it will be very helpfull. thanx

whats going on with it?

well first my valves are knocking crazy loud, than it wont idle, than it doesnt rev over 2500rpms. any ideas? evreything is driving me insain and the problem is no one wants to put hands on it.

- check the oil pan for dents that would be restricting proper oil flow
- you need a new MAF, thats whats causing it not to rev over 2500

yeah they are right, your MAF will cause your revving problem. did you just install this engine or have you been driving on it for some time.

well technically it could be his MAF...or it could be his MAF connector on the harness

which would mean needing a new harnessor new connector plug

a voltage test on it could narrown it down for joo good sir
