There was a lot of talk in the gas pricing thread about folks buying an riding bikes. This is another reason why I would never do it.
Please be careful out there! 90% of the time it's not the bikers fault if there's an accident, folks in cars don't look at their surroundings!

I hope that guy was alright but I agree with you guys! this is the reason why I don't have a bike here yet. But with gas prices going up and the fact that they are going to keep rising I think about it more and more each time I fill up gas.
Not to mention that I really miss riding!

Yeah drivers in so cal especially if your in the commuting scene are fuckin idiots. So many people who dont pay attention or zone out. When i used to ride in long beach i used to hold my breath thru every intersection. People drive to passively when your driving you need to be actively thinking about your driving and whats going on.

Well there's more cars than bikes out there, so car drivers probably look out for cars more.... They're bigger.

And he ran the red, so he was at fault... Smart move.

AND him landing on the car probably saved his life, he's lucky he didn't get pinned against the middle barrier and the car when it hit it and bounced off.

It could be worse: Don't watch if you don't have a STRONG ass stomach... This is the best cinematic crash to date that I've seen.

i went offroading in a scooter three weeks ago at lake elsinore and its pretty fun. but i'll tell you this, its fucking dangerous even on or off road.
