Ok i did my front brakes today using poweredbymax 13" rotors with Z32 calipers and HAWK HP plus pads so i noticed that the pads were very tight inside rotor but i thought that driving the car was going to solve that well ive drove the car for about 30-40 miles and pads still braking the car, i stop to check and the rotors were fucking hot and calipers too very hot WTF? is that normal or what? i dont think so bro
will post pics tomo havent take pics yet

No that's not normal and you should get that fixed before you go driving again because rubbing pads become glazed quite quickly.

Sounds like your caliper might be bad. Check to see if your piston can be pushed in and pressed out easliy when unbolted.

hmm, z32 rotors come in eihter 26mm or 30mm. does hawk have two different part numbers in accordance to this difference?

if not, it's called brake drag.

calipers are 30MM and this is the part number for the pads HB178N.564, let me look around online for that ppart number hold on
looks like is the right one http://www.frsport.com/Hawk_HB178N_564_HP_Plus_Autocross_and_Track_Front_ Brake_Pads_300ZX_p_2257.html

I can try some old pads i have here to see . other than that not sure . calipers are good

did you push in the caliper pistons all the way b4 putting the pads in the carriers? sounds like you just slappped the pads on and kinda force the calipers back onto the rotors....

how do you check???

^^^ Most people check by putting the pistons all the way back in the caliper, then adding the pads, and trying to fit a 30mm rotor in there lol. If it comes no where near fitting, like a 1/8" on each side, you've got 26mm calipers and 30mm rotors. You should be able to check by sticking a micrometer in caliper opening, but I don't have the measurements.

About bedding in pads/rotors - IT'S IMPORTANT, and becomes increasingly important as you get more aggressive on your pad/rotor choice. My ductile iron rotors and carbon metallic pads on the GSXR wouldn't work at all if they weren't bedded in properly, because they'd glaze as soon as you hit 'em hard.

Stoptech has a great white-paper on bedding in brakes. Start here: http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp_bedintheory.shtml then go to the links at the bottom for "Bedding in performance brakes".

When you first bed in new pads, the rotor (and caliper) will be very hot - this is normal, if you're doing it according to the white-paper... just regular driving, however, should not produce enough heat to boil water (or your fingers, if you're dumb enough to touch your rotors), and may be an indication of brake drag.

what about trying to sand them a little ...

Get the correct calipers or rotors (whichever you decide), sand the pads lightly to remove the glaze, and bed them in properly. If you overheated them right away before they were bedded in at all then they may never come back.
