Note: This for sale thread is for a friend, but I am able to answer most, if not all, your questions regarding this seat.

E-Mail: [email protected]
Cell: Ask via PM or E-Mail
Method of Payment: Cash
Location: SoCal - 818
Pick-up Only
Price: $525 OBO (Price includes slider)

This thread is for a genuine Recaro Profi SPG Schwarz bucket seat. This item is in near new condition and has not been used nor mounted by the current owner. It's a great looking seat that holds unbelievably well and will compliment any interior. This seat does come with slider. The slider that comes with the seat is a universal slider. Brand is unknown at the moment, but most likely if used with a 240SX it would sit much to tall. You would be better off purchasing a Bride FG Rail.

Just to let all the weight conscious people know, this seat weighs only 14 lbs. Definitely won't have to worry about using your elbow and knee to keep you in your seat through those fast turns. A top notch seat all around.

Asking price for the seat is $525, but seller is open to reasonable offers (Acura/Honda B series parts will be considered for trade, but money is what really talks).

Please, no PMs or E-Mails asking how low we can go. Obviously if you're asking you do not have the money for this seat and will only be wasting both our time.
NO LOW BALLERS! We know how much the seat is worth especially considering it's condition and the fact that a slider is included with the price.

Recaro Profi SPG for the professional racer who appreciates the ultimate in ergonomically enhanced racing shells.
Well defined side bolster contours and Friction Grip Surface in the shoulder areas, these features combine to create excellent hold through your fastest curves in both rally and road racing.
Belt guides are ready for 4, 5, or 6 point belts. Shells are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (GRP). The Profi SPG XL is the "big brother" to the Profi SPG. The Profi SPG XL is almost an inch and a half wider, and the upper belt guides are taller and larger openings. Profi is available in long wearing, dynamic black velour. Recaro Profi SPG, the choice of champions.

Excellent seat.

Priced a little high for an expired version...but still a great seat.

Yes, I have a SPG myself, I love it

But yeah, price is a bit high, for a expired seat

(Not like expiration of FIA matters to most owners, but still, for that price just buy new)

Just FYI, a new SPG is list price $799

And obviously it doesn't sell for full list

I know you put OBO but just let your friend know

Also, you should include what sliders it comes with

If the sliders aren't Bride FG rails, then its not really worth it to a 240 owner

Sparco, Wedge all sit too high in 240's

And if its just sliders (not rails), then street price of sliders is kinda nil

I'd list what I think a more appropriate street price for the SPG should be, but I won't so it doesn't affect your sale

Thanks for the info. I'll let him know and will definitely find out the make of the slider.

Dropped the price to $650 (still including slider) and will double check on what brand the slider was (Guy's at work and doesn't get off till late). Took into consideration what A Spec said and figured this price is more reasonable.

Give you 650 shipped...

So uh yeah?

Which I feel is still too high considering I bought that same seat in better condition for 35,000 yen...

I imagine it's the USDM driver's rail that it's coming with right?

did you not read the original post?

Pick-up OnlySo uh no.

Why would you pay double for a seat in worse condition (your opinion, the seat is used, but in near new condition) than the one you've purchased before?

No rail. Just sliders. Making it seem more and more obvious that you only saw the title, price, and the pretty pictures.

Well considering the fact that you're not going to sell it for anywhere near your price because:

1) This is Zilvia and nobody here will pay that much for a seat that isn't FRP or carbon
2) Even if I wasn't forward deployed I still wouldn't be able to pick it up.

Support your troops, ship FPO.

Dude, it's obvious you want the seat. No, you're not getting it for that priced shipped. I really don't want this thread to be filled with time wasting posts. Please, stop posting. Seeing as you don't want it at the set price, don't buy it.

Sell it yet? Nope didn't think so.

Koopa, why do you insist on being such a child? What you fail to realize is that I'm not the one who's in control of the price or of the "no shipping" matter. If the item were mine I'd let it go for $500 and have shipping available at the expense of the buyer as every sale should be. Hell, I'm getting prepared to ship a hood and bumper to a guy in Colorado today.

I honestly feel your offer was more than reasonable and would have sold it to you in a heart beat, but I'm only forwarding you pretty much what was told to me. Feel free to view the thread as much as you want, but don't post if it's only going to be a useless comment.
