Alright my headlights (if I manually put them down) will go up only if I use the headlight button. They will not go down if I press it again. I searched and saw that another guy had the same problem and someone said to pull on the ground wire and that worked for him. Im not sure if that literally means pull on it or not. Well i did that and it didnt work, no surprise. Anyway I got 2 more motors and put them in and that didnt work so I dont know what it is. I guess they both work cuz when they are plugged in and you try to manually turn them it kicks, which I think its showing that they work. Is it a relay or what else could it be. Again they go up but dont go back down. Just to clear things up a little they will not go up or down by the light switch on the steering column and they will only go up and not go down by the headlight button.

check the relays in the box on the driver side engine compartment behind the core support. some might have gone bad. might also be the timer control for the whole setup (behind driver side kick panel)

I checked the 5A fuse for the headlights in the driver's side kick panel and that was okay. As for the relays are you talking about the box under/near the airbox location that looks like a smaller fuse box?

yah, that's the box. different relays control different functions of the headlights movement. I think one controls up, one controls down, and one also controls the movement when the headlights are turned on or off. can't remember exactly how it's run, but check them and maybe switch the relays around to see if they change what works and what doesn't. there is also the box (not the fuse box) that has a single plug going to it that is the timer for the headlights going up and down. That is what I'm talking about behind the driver side kick panel. I think it's a metal box, but I could be wrong, if possible, get yourself a FSM or anything with a wiring diagram and parts layout and it will make your life a bit easier to troubleshoot. I think they have one at carfiche.com .
