Only if they made the damn thing RWD....I hate to say it but I still think the bodyline on this car looks better than the Z33 and even the G35/37s.

Its like a Hyundai Tiburon, a Prelude, or a 3000GT. They all look like they should be RWD but arent....

Heres my question, since the G/Z/maxima/altima all share the same platform and engine, How hard would it be to make this coupe a rwd using a G35/37 or Z as a donor car? That would be a cool shop car tho...

This is the first thing that I though if when I heard they were making an Altima coupe...cept I'd prolly use the qr out of a frontier and boost it...vq is hella hard to work on.

I know that the last generation Altima used the skyline/g35 rear subframe and suspension as an economy of scale thing...minus the axels and diff of course. I don't know if the current generation is the same but it would make it a hell of a lot easier to do the swap if the rear subframe still just bolts on. As for the front end, there does not seem to be enough room for the transmission. Easily rectified by cutting it out and forming a trans tunnel. After that fabbing engine mounts should be cake.

Not sure if it'd be so easy, I read in some damn magazine recently about a shop that transplanted the G35x driveline into a 350Z. And it was a bitch.

I think. :(
