you'd be better off buying a compressor and an air impact :d

I got the IR 2530k , comes with a nice case, charger and 2 batteries.

Perfect for getting lug nuts off. Ive tried my other friends snap-on, matco and dewalt and have found mine to be a lot stronger.

Wont be dispointed, check ebay, i got mine for like $250 new i belive.

eF snap on.. their warranty sucks.. i waited 3 weeks for a pair of strippers and 4 MONTHS for my hose clamp removal tool, after both broke

Snap on sucks, over priced, dont get a snap-on cordless plz,
find one cheaper
but as for cordless impact guns, best thing invented, i used a Milwaukee, worked prefect.

don't skimp, especially if this is a tool you'll use often or for work. i bought some Ryobi cordless tools, what a waste of $100. Dewalt, Bosch, or Milwaukee or nothing.

if you're not planning to make a living with it.. harbor freight has a killer 19.2v 1/2" impact. Guys at the shop use it to disassemble engines all the time and can't stop it.

My friend has a shop so I would just go there if something broke and get it replaced right there on the spot. and because you waited how does that make the warranty suck? they just had to ship you your stuff.

I use the IR cordless one and love it.

I forget the model number though.

I'll look to see tonight when I get home.

IR makes some really nice items.
Snap On is really really expensive.

Working in the business, you'll get what you pay for. The snap-on piece is one of the best ones but also the highest priced. Dewalt and Ir are awsome pieces too. My buddy uses one from pepboys and seems to work fine. He got it on sale for $70 and had no issues so far. But only time will tell. good luck with your find

Just curious as to why you would need something with 300lbs? Will you be using it to take off axle nuts? Even then I don't think it needs to be torqued to that much. I have a 3/8 dewalt that I use for pretty much everything besides lug nuts and it works fine.
The new dewalt 36volt would suit your requirements.

I also have milwakee tools and no complaints there. I use a bosh cordless drill at work and prefer the way the dewalt and milwakee feels. You can go to home depot and check out the ones on display.

get the snap on 18Volt. DO NOT GET THE 14VOLT. IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY.

i have on at the shop and have little to no use for it.

if you use it to tighten lugnuts USE A TORQUE WRENCH afterwords, cordless impacts cannot properly tighten the lugs to spec'd torque.

You should get the new snap on cordless impact gun. I believe its the 18 volt one. My snap on dealer let our shop test it out and everyone liked it. It might be pricey but worth it if you goin to use it lot. If I didn't buy a tool box I would of picked one up, but i needed the box more. It is on the top on my list of tools I want.

I just ordered the Ingersoll Rand 2530K 1/2-Inch 19.2-Volt Cordless Impact Wrench, i'll give a review after I put some work in with it. Its rated to 350ft/lbs but well see, I got a 220ft/lb air impact, its decent but the purpose to me of having a good impact is not having to revert to hand power to break shit loose. But im buying the cordless impact for the occassions that an air impact isn't available.

Also found this picture when searching for the I-R 2530K and it doesn't say its the I-R 2530K but it looks just liek it and it says here its rated at 450ft/lbs"

Chicago Harbor Freight one.

I was gonna go pick that one up for $79.99 at HF but its rated 220ft/lbs and I ddin;t wanan waste money on that, so im hopping this rated 350ft/lb ones lives up to its promise.

here i'll give you my pitch on the craftsman 18v cordless 1/2'' impact. it does 400ftlbs. of torque, 250 lug nuts on 1 charge, comes with hard case, 2 batteries, charger, and instructions. now the price is around 235.00 about the same as a dewalt, snap on, matco, and IR. now the benifits of teh craftsman over them, sears offers what is known as a merchandise replacement agreement on all of their power tools, cordless drills, etc. the price on this one is 24.99 for 2 years, covers everything from if you drop it and break it, to if the batteries don't hold a charge. i have dealt with all of the said impacts and the craftsman one, Snap On's sux, and if it breaks you have to track down the truck, he sends in in to get it fixed, etc. All the others are the exact same way. for the price and convinience of fixing it or replacing it, get a craftsman. besides after talking with the guys from MSI, who distributes all of the craftsman power tools, the 18v cordless impact is made by Ryobi, who also makes the drills and impacts for IR.

I think I would go with Craftsman simply for the warranty and that there is always a Sears atleast somewhat near..You can take it to Kmart too now since they also carry Craftsman.

The thing with SnapOn is that it is big time dealer dependent on your service. Some areas are awesome, and others straight up suck donkey cock.

fuck K-mart! the guys from the hardware section came into sears to train and we were asking them general tool and hardware questions like "what does a multi meter do", "how do you use a torque wrench", etc. most of them didn't know a multimeter from calculator. i refuse to shop there for tools. just bite the built and go to sears.

go with the IR, but only because:

450 ft-lb of nut-busting torque.

But when ( not IF!) it breaks where can you take it to get it replaced if its under warranty?? Iam not arguing it isnt supperior but on something that is guranted to break I want easy warranty/service on the bia. You know on that 700th day of the warranty Iam gonna start throwing the thing on the ground and doing anything I can to kill the f'er

LOVE my matco 3/8 and snapon 1/2

a torque wrench? fuck that. use a torque stick

matco has a nice 1/2" too. i get matco and snapon super cheap :)

lol someone dropped an IR at nissan the other day and it broke.

snapon, matco or something like that. don't cheap out. i use mine DAILY.

love being able to bring home my cordless 3/8 from work and use it and not have to fire up my air compressor.

I've had my DW059 (Dewalt) for 2 years now, and would never think of going with anything else. One battery will last the weekend at the track between myself and 3 others swapping/rotating tires. I got lucky and got mine new for $180 shipped through a friend. Ebay is probably the best place to find good deals on these.

I tried the HF cheap impact for a week and took it back, it overtorqued my wheels with the lightest of hits. The Dewalt with one to two short hits on the lugs, I'm still under what my torque wrench is set to.

we have a 1/2 snap on its been working non stop for 3 years never had a problem. a 1/2 Goodyear that was on sale for 69.99 at pepboys that has also been great other then someone dropped a battery and a retainer clip broke, but zipties work to hold it on. 3/8 IR great for small spaces, a 3/8 makita 18v that only problem i have seen is that the batterys go bad often, and the best feature is the light that points to the bolt when you pull the trigger.

if you have acess to a tool truck snap on , if not IR are great impacts worth ever dollar.
