im kinda new to all of this but I have a 95 240 and I installed an intake to go along with my cat-back system. the after market intake was just a cone and mass air flow censor adaptor so i had to relocate my intake temperature censor. I relocated it on the stock palstic intake piping in front of the fan shroud that still remained and i still have a check engine light. can anyone help me?

Could try reseting the ecu by dissconnecting the battery for 30 minutes. Also check the ecu to see if its giving any codes.

Well, I was just driving and my freaking engine light light came on:eh:....autozone won't check it because "the don't work on dem damn imports" so I guess i gotta take my car up to nissan and get them to check it. I better just go over there and bend over cause i'll get reemed with the price.

that wont reset the ecu you have to clear it and reset the ecu by doing the diagnostic procedure check the faq

and linja check the faq all techs do is take 5 minutes charge you 1 hour for 90 bucks and its just 5 minutes of hooking up consult when it can take you 10-20 minutes doing it yourself.

hey man, i had the same problem with my stillen intake.

i didnt connect the Air Temp Sensor the first time, and when I did, it still had the check engine light. What you gota do is put your key on the ON position, and leave it for a good 10-15 minutes. I found out by accident because I was just listening to the radio, and my engine was off, but the key was on the ON position. When I did start my engine, the check engine light went away. Try it. Maybe it'll work for you too. Make sure you connect the Air Temp. Sensor though.
