Hey i was wondring if any one has the GT4 game @ PS2(i wont buy the PS3 unless i finish this GT4!)

so you guys wanna try a game? only if you have extra time i mean just an idea....could be fun...dont be an a$$ if you dont like it or dont wanna play! very simple....

I start with Tsukuba Track time attack.(not the reverse)

name a car.( i got the Nismo 270R S14 Zenki LOADED!)
1983 Corolla GT Trueno N/A tuned to max...
if there is new cars in D house let us know with all the info you can.
base pecipe N/A or Turbo ETC..
Load it with what ever you can buy from the Tuning world OR LESS.
add R5 SS tires bam attack the time...

in GT4 if u modify ur car with top end parts u can adjust everything!

for drifting i reduce the understeer to 0 and make the over steer almost to max, i raise the spring rate to 12 in the front and 10 in the back raise the shock stifness to 8 in the back and 12 front, and some lil other stuff, then the 270R Nismo S14 goz sideways everywhere :ghey:

I was able to get a 51.618 at Tsukuba with the 01 Evo7 RS fully built 515hp no NOS and I'm sure I can cut atleast a .200 off the time. Atleast for my driving haha :o

i would still play it, no matter if i had a license or if i was a Pro GT500 driver, actually GT drivers play that game, infact thy played against each other one day in tokyo,5 or 6 of them online...i think the ARTA NSX with thier ace driver beated every one lol

its a driving sim too, i played the FIA GT F360 Chalange race car sim, in vegas, the dmn thing was so real i couldnt belive it, they charged me $20 for 5 mins, i got extra min because i was doing great :naughty:

Challenge: To beat that time without any GT or F1 cars. Meaning you can buy any car that doesn't come with decals (layman terms). No limit on HP, and can use any type of tires.
Prize: Besides my respects, if you're in SoCal and you're down to show me your time attack run that beats mine I'll give you $20. It's not much but yeah. Considering I love the game and always like a challenge and the guy has to meet me up I think $20 is okay, or they can risk doubling it in a 3 lap race on Trial Mountain.

i do this on the daily, ive beat the game and have played it four times since.
my brother and i always pick a track and take turns beating each others times till we get the fastest time.
I broke 50 seconds with the grand turismo s2k, gt car. car redlines to 12k, and has 500+ hp.

and if you wanna se a low ass car, buy the gathers ek civic hatch and dump it, front and rear tires get tucked, its practically fender and rim.

and i didnt use nitrous

and on the same course my friend whom i was competing with for fastest time pulled a 56 as well with a modded with no NOS 350Z

and put the traction control on 5 to make it overstreer more so i can save my exit lines better...i think i can pull anothr 100 or maybe 200 less, i was suciding tho! i did like 25 laps just to beat it, and then i took a nap, i was faded, woke up, drank coffe, smoked cigarte, BAM attack the time again :hsdance:

Damn good time Tsukuba with the FD. I haven't changed the settings on the FD for that course, but I was barely making 49 secs with the 180sx. Ohh and no NOS, or driving aids (including TCS) too.

Bro with R5 tires on a BOOSTED UP 1000Hp Audi Le Mans R8 i did 58 or so, i been rolling on that track from GT3 about 4 years already, you should check that time, cause with JGTC skyline i did 1:20! with mines skyline i did 1:28 or so, with the 270R it was far away from 1:20`s

whoever did 48 sec on Tsukuba is nuts! I barely did a 58 in my 240 with minimal mods....

I haven't played in years tho, how much better is it driving with the force feedback steering wheel?

AUdi R8 about low 40`s like 42 41secs, i gotta buy one again :( not cheap and easy even with easy money making techniqs!

i cant get a hold of him unfortunately. ill retract that time until i have official proof.

ill put up some times ive done recently with other cars when i get home from work, most of them are in the 1:20-1:39 range.

811Hp Mine`s skyline did like 1:20`s trying like an asshole and i was far far away!

ok here lets do this...

go to arcade mode, pick the track, pick the Woodone Supra(green white)
boost it up to max, lower the weight to the lowest R5 Supersoft tires and lets hit the track, reverse or normal either one im ok, normal its better...

NOTE: no taking grass field before the finish line? if you do let me know so i do it too, SO ARE WE ON? Or anyother JGTC cars.

actually scratch that, i HATE using racecars. it takes the fun out of it.

just make a few runs with different cars and lemme know what ya get. im doing mine in simulation mode, with the above stated R32 N1, an S2000, and another car i havent decided on yet.

I think my best 'production car' was a loaded Vspec. Oddly enough, the NUR didnt do as good. I couldnt find much difference. Time was like 50 seconds or something. Dont have the PS2 here to take a screenshot or upload a video of the replay. Yes, i kept the replay.

Yes, fully built to over 600bhp. Suspension, brakes, lsd and gear ratio all re-tuned. NO NOS or driving aids (TCS or ASM).

But sadly I did cut through the grass before the final lap. I don't remeber the time going through the S-curves but its still in the 1 min 13 sec range. Like 13.998 secs.

I've done 1'19 with an e46 m3 CSL and 1'15 with my opera s2k on trial mountain. This was back when I had crazy time trials with a group of friends, we gave everyone one week to tune a set of cars before the day we raced at my house. Good times
