So I have heard that the temp gauges in these cars aren't the most accurate things but I was wondering if I should be worrying about mine?

looks fine. when your car is turned off. Look for those two little lines in the middle of the temp gauge that is the lines for the normal temp as long as your needle isnt above that your fine.

I too am worried to see if something may be wrong. I went drifting and my car didn't overheat at all. It always stayed on the first line never more and, when I stopped my resevior was boiling... Should I trust what my cluster reads?

I would highly recommend getting an aftermarket water temp guage.

^^^ i second that i belive that the stock gauge caused me to blow one HG and could have easliy done it again. get an aftermarket one its the best thing you could buy.
