View Full Version : PIC REQUEST: s13 w/ widebody fenders, BUT stock bumpers

Yeah since i'm in love with my pignose lip and mudflaps, I'd like to know if anyone's ever gotten any type of widebody front and rear fenders but still retained the stock front and rear bumpers. I know I'd need to mod the mudflaps a bit, it might look ugly, but I just wanna see if anyone's done it. thanks!

Looks like 30mm fenders molded on there. The 30mm ones don't go all the way down so it wouldn't mess with your mudflaps.

OOO that looks awesome. front fenders look untouched, though. Thanks for that pic nonetheless.

is the above acceptable to all the board members?

I need to make sure my car is visually acceptable to all the board members

just making sure all the board members accept the above visual qualities.

^ I'm lovin your sarcasm. If you're not being sarcastic, then start a poll with a pic of your car titled "like my car?" Otherwise, I asked for pictures, not opinions. But then again there are always people here looking for trouble.

Need reassurance... like ur 295/40R18 on a 9" rim thread? ;)

Good for you, make sure you get the right sidewall height tho, and try not to have too buldgey a sidewall (as I have already mentioned in the other thread).

And back on thread topic, wide front fenders will work fine w/ stock bumper - you'll still need to fit it just like any other fiberglass piece tho.

S13, check.
overfenders, check.
stock bumpers, check.

edit: upon closer inspection the front bumper and skirts appear to be fiberglass replicas of the stock pieces...but since the dimensions are the same this should work.

One of my favorite wheels (in the gangster face only though)

Wedssport TC105N

http://www.weds.co.jp/products/wedssport/tc105n.html

And yes, I can get them, however they require a lot of quantity to bring in

They are over $2k for a set, but have nice gangster fitment

The reason I didn't stock them was because I needed to do 20 pieces of 18x10.5+12 ONLY to bring them in, which was more than I felt would sell

Is the red car running 18x10.5 +12s in the rear?

Assuming thats a 30mm, and by the looks of the side pics, I'd guess yes, a 10.5+12

He should've ran a more stretched tire, then lowered + cambered it out for gangster flushness

Lol, i was talking to CityTireBrian about the same thing today!

They need some better US distribution or somethin

and they need to make all their wheels the maximum concave instead of their 4-5 difference faces

G'day fellas

Thought I'd clear up a few things on my car. First up, I've been building it over the last 3yrs to be a daily driver. Secondly, it looks so clean because it's all been painted and has only just been registered. The heights are slightly different now, as I needed clearance for said daily driving so it's a little higher. This also means that the alignment can't have crazy camber and stuff especially if it's to be used on the track. The frame rail wasn't there from factory as mentioned by 'nwmrkt' (g'day mate), but I do have one of those URAS extension rails which I'm yet to fit...babysteps.

It's getting an alignment tomorrow and its first tune next week, exciting times ahead as we do the shakedown.

Check out the blog for more info, it's all there...use the search engine too. If you can't find the info, feel free to ask questions.

Cheers
Brendan

Hey bud, hows it going? You always manage to "stumble" upon a forum where you s13 is bring drooled over :yum:.

Anyways I have to give props again, im going the same direction with my underbody.

sillbeer_au
11-06-2007, 08:31 PM
Hahaha, I don't exactly stumble, more like stalk. I check the access logs on the web server host and see where I'm getting the most hits from. That way I can track where people are coming from and clear things up where needed. I've got all sorts of people around the world watching it...it amazes me.

And good to hear I've had an affect on someone elses build...I like to think I can help others raise the bar.

Cheers
