I am now in college and have no money to maintain or continue this project car because I do not have time to work, so here is a test as to whether I will sell the car outright (if I can get enough) or if I will slowly part it out. So put honest answers as to what I could get for this car I have had it for 4 years and I would hate to see it go, I have put over 15k into this car including the actual car. I also have a whole bunch of extra parts for the car that I didn't put in, like a Omori water temp gauge, Techtom daughter board ecu (needs to be tuned with newly burned chips but i have some reburnable ones I would supply), and some other misc stuff...
The car is a Black 1990 Nissan 240SX SE Hatch. All the SE features are pretty much still here, power mirrors, windows, larger sway bars, optional front lip etc...
The car has around 230k miles on the chassis but it is straight and has an ok body. Miles on the motor is around 40k. The motor was swapped back in 2002 by Aerodyne Industries.
Here are the mods:
Engine
-Redtop rwd SR20DET swap w/ transmission (no ps or ac)
-t28 turbo from a pulsar gtir (.86 a/r hotside brand new from garret), also new compressor o-ring.
- hks cams (i forget which, but if anyone is interested i will check, but they are stage 1's for sure, either 256 or 264)
-Greddy type s bov (old black type off an rx7 t78 kit)
-greddy v-spl fmic (tube fin 1100 bucks retail)
-just changed oil mobile one syn 10w30 w/ filter
-blitz oil filter sandwich plate for blitz oil temp dc meter
-tomei ras
-megan ex mani
-megan turbo elbow
-greddy profec b bc
-koyo radiator (aluminum)
-apex high pressure radiator cap
-nismo low temp thermo
-new coolant
-nismo trans mount
-new exedy oem type clutch, bearing and cover

-trans just had all seals replaced
-pretty new die hard battery

-keyed lug nuts all around
-new oem front lower arms w/ new bushings
Exterior:

-new hood (has some scratches and one bend inthe corner)

-new rear lights (new bulbs prettymuch all around the car too)
-custom over fenders (fitment is meh)
-bomex wangan wing
-newer paint on roof and hood
-newer paint on overfenders

Interior:
-nardi wheel
-nismo horn button
-black recaro spg seat
-takata 4 point (w/ recaro pads)
-HKB hub
-generic aftermarket head unit
-blitz oil temp dc meter
-mechanical greddy boost gauge
-pivot height adjustable shift knob
-other misc stuff
-battery relocated to trunk
-rear stripped
-lojack w/ early warning (1k, calls 6 contact points if the car moves more than 20 feet)
-recaro seat rail w/ generic side mounts
-alarm that is not hooked up
-jdm 180km/h gauge clutster (w/9k tach)
cons: (gonna be honest w/ everything that pisses me off about the car, but its mostly 240 only stuff)
- front bumper sags due to no bumper reinforcement (bc of fmic)
- front lip is scraped up due to above
- hood has a small bend and a large scratch
- paint is not what it could be because i did not have time to wash it much
- battery relocation is messy, it probably needs to be redone
- because of the above the battery has left small rust spots in the rear spare tire well and to the side of it, i have sanded most of this out, needs to be painted
-front right wheel lip is a little bent because of a hit and run
- one of the rear wheel lips is curbed really bad
-no ps or ac
-speakers are not wired up
-cat leaks at the flange
-front turn signals need new screws to hold them in
-rear garnish has a small crack
-rear hatch release does not work
-suspension settings need to be optimized
-drivers seat has a couple small rips and scratches
-carpet is not in the best shape
-drivers door has a hole in it
-dash is cracked
- harnesses are not mounted right
- someone tried to break in the drivers door so there are obvious screw driver marks, it was also keyed.
-over fenders were mounted sloppily (not my doing, thank milano for jacking them and not returning them to me for a while, when he did they were not the right ones)
-needs rucas because getting uneven wear
-hatch leaks, also the sun roof and drivers window does a little
-antanae is broke
-rear spoiler was mounted messy w/ double sided tape, paint is peeling a little
-dent near rear left light and rear right light (typical 240 dents)
-rear bumper is scratched on the bottom
-various other misc things
-front bumper was cut for the fmic
