Anybody have a preference? opinion? if I get Z32's should I do front and back or just front, how about the MC? I've been gettting a LOT of people telling me very different things. BTW- engine has a lot of upgrades and a lot of power but doesn't handle really well yet (yeah I'm working on it...)

S13 Silvia brakes are nothing special at all. S14/15 Silvia brakes are basically 300ZX parts anyway. I say just go for the 300ZX stuff... It works, it's cheap and it's proven.

Replacing the master cylinder seems to be all about preference... some people don't mind or don't notice the extra pedal travel and softness.

you quoted the most expensive (but very good) source.

www.srswap.com (full kits)

www.car-part.com (used parts)

www.napaonline.com (remanufactured)

check some of those sources, do your homework, then buy some brakes.

you can do the Z brake upgrade for 500, maybe even under 500 easily.

calipers - take your calipers and use them as the CORE when buying Z brakes from autozone, advance auto parts, etc. The zit faced punk behind the counter wont know the difference between a z brake and your puny s13 brake. Plus the Z brakes you will recieve are remanufactured (brand spankin new) with a LIFETIME warantee. $200

rotors - Powerstop rotors... $109 for the pair + shipping, redrilling costs can vary.

Lines - $105 shipped from projectsilvia.com for both front and back. I think its like $85 shipped for the front 2 pair... better deal to just buy all 4 at once.

pads - $40-50

did I miss anything? oh yea, fluid... but thats pretty cheap too.
