I was looking into the limits on the stock S14 pump in my car right now. I'm running a stock boost Redtop but looking to turn it up in the ~10lb range not a whole lot more but a pretty healthy bump. I looked up the specs on the pump and they are 90l/hr rated pumps. By my calculations that's around 23.5 gallons/hr or ~260 crank hp on a turbocharged engine or around 215whp on a rwd car. I shouldn't be anywhere near this on stock t25 redtop on 10lbs should I? Maybe 200 at MOST and that's being generous. I feel like I'm gonna get flamed for this because everybody dogs the stock pump on here. But by calculation it should do the job for what I want should it not?:bigok:

Just get a walbro for $100. If you take the chance and blow your motor it will cost a lot more than $100 to fix it.

100 hell you can get a walboro 255 for 80. the stock pump wont handle much and its worth the extra money to go ahead and upgrade. my stock fuel pump couldn't hold up to my stock RB25 with higher boost.
