I've recently had a bad experiance with an "JDM motor specialist", better known as Osaka Motors.
Though now I've found information about this company I wish I hadn'ta taken a friend of mines words (yes he was moved down on my top people,lol)

I'm currently trying to work with Osaka in getting either a replacement or a refund. Credit card company, and better business has been contacted about the matter.

So with that out the way, who would be the best to go to for my engine replacement needs?

I've looked into SR20Store.com, Susan at Adrenaline, Heavy Throttle, Phase2motortrend.

I'm also considering getting a rebuilt motor as I daily my car, and you never know the kind of stuff a used motor has seen.

Just looking for some good input here to help me out.

May I ask what was wrong with your motor?
I got mine from osaka motors and it was pretty decent, exept for missing MAF and rad hoses, adn couple other small things.

Osaka are in Montreal, and they are JUNK. If you are local, you can do compression checks and check your turbo etc, and they have a lot of motors so you can usually find a decent one for cheap, but if I wasn't local, I would never even THINK about doing business with these guys.

Personally, I like Marco at SR20store. Phase 2 is the shit also. I have gotten engines from the both of them and they were both great!

I have never heard of that Susan....so I can not comment on them.

when i was on the sr20 bandwagon i was gona order from osaka. 30 start up warrenty so there shouldnt be an issue getting a replacement or refund. good luck with your situation.
