Cannot Rev Past 3k?

hey guys. my car is having a problem. i have a s14 sr. pretty much stock besides FMIC, BOV, S-AFC2, and Boost Controller. recently my MAF went out on me by sending out too much volts. it had a rough idle and a bad start and my S-AFC2 wouldnt turn on. i replaced the MAF with another stock s14 sr piece. and the start is back to normal and the idle is normal. but i cant rev past 3k and my S-AFC2 still doenst turn on. ill check my MAF Pigtails in the morning when theres more light but ill check the S-AFC2 harness. is it possible that the ECU is in some sort of fail safe or something or my S-AFC2 just blew out on me? does anyone know what might be the problem? or might have a guess? thanks. any help is greatly appreciated.

if the SAFC wont turn on, your ECU will not receive the MAF signal, regardless if its good or not. Sounds like you blew the SAFC, bypass it for now by reconnecting the MAF to the ECU, should get it running/revving past 3k.
