if the rims size is
16x8 offset is +15
how is it gonna look on s13? are the rims gonna stick out a lot? or are they gonna touch anything like suspension or something like that?

rims wont stick out a lot..they will still be sunk actually. they will clear everything.

Agreed, I have seen 16x8 +10 offset work just fine. But I wouldn't say they will be "sunk".

what do you mean by sunk?

To answer your original question. No, they won't stick out or cause any problems for you.
What size tires do you plan on running?

Check the wheel thread and look at pictures, somebody ought to have a set in there thats close to your setup and give you an idea of how itll fit.

depends if youre running stock suspension and cember setup and shit... if you have stock suspension they will definitely stick out... my old 15x7-0, which is inward even more than 16x8+15 stuck out a little but... but as soon as i slammed that shit, camber pulled it in for a perfect tuck. depends on setup. what are you runnin?

i think you missed a 2 in there. 225/50/16 sounds more like it.

The 15x7 +0 and 16x8 +15 are virtually identical in the sunk/tuck outer edge. Actually the 16x8 is sunken more by ~3mm.
My opinions on fit:
16x8 +15 is not too bad for the front of S13. Maybe a 5mm spacer will make it just right. Use 205/50/16.
For the rear, I would use a 15mm spacer 205/50/16 or 205/55/16 will work back there.
I would not run 225's unless you have 9's.
This is assuming you are more or less slammed on coilvers, run some negative camber, and roll your rear fenders.

Ok, here is what I did for you. I took pictures with the 16x8 +15offset and 225/45 tires. I also took pics of the stock set up with 15x6 195/60 +25offset I think is stock, if not, pretty close. What I noticed is the +15 offset sticks out farther in the front, then I would like. The front is where you will get the rubbing. It would be better to have a +19 or +25 for your front rims. If you are staying with the stock height and don't plan to lower the car, the 50 series would look better then the 45 series, the 50 series would fill the wheel well better.
here are the pics:

Here is a brief run down on offset. the more +, on the same size rim, the more the rim is moved inward from the face where it bolts to the rotor, therefore, less lip on your rim, and keeping the rim inside the fender. So, using less postive offset yields more lip to your rim. Sick lip is running a negative offset, but you run into problems with rubbing suspension, brake rotors, and fenders. I hope I helped ya out, if so, feel free to add to my rep status. I seem to be an asshole currently.
I hope I helped you out. Good Luck Dean

As far as what size of tire to run on an 8 inch rim, the 225 fits perfect in my opinion.

there's no way that's a stock wheel, you can't even see them from above. stock s13 is 15x6 +40.
i second the comment that 225 is perfect, it works for me.

Yeah, the stockers are +40 offset. So the extra 15mm will push the rim even further in. You can help relieve this by getting a bigger tire (215) is pushing it a bit on 15"x6". 205 is really the max you should run on stocks.
And whatever you do, DON'T BUY MOTEGI CRAP AND DROP IT LIKE ITS HOT.... :jerkit:
Save up and at least get FN01R-Cs, they're played out but have alot of offset options.
Your best bet for sizes is 17x8 +25 front, 17x9 +35 rear for staggered. This should be good with stock fenders, no rolling, decent wheel well filler, and not too heavy. Go with 235/40 in front, and 255/35 in rear. Done.

X2 on this choice of rims and size or tires. Will get you some nice stagger too.

Sorry for the incorrect pic of a stock rim. I have several rims that fit my S13. I took this pic from a photo album by mistake as the stock rim. It is in fact a 300zx rim which is around +25, and therefore, sticks out more then the stock rim of +40. The rims are the same width. So, now we can all see the differences of the offsets. I will edit the photos. I do have a set of SE rims and believed the photo was of them when I posted them. I made and error, but still showed what happens to the rim as you go from +25 to a +15 and what a 16x8 +15 225 would look like. The point of the post was to show the +15 offset 16x8 rims, which is correct. I didn't need to post the incorrect Stock rims. As far as the rear alignment, it is a hicas equipped S13, and I'm currently solving that. In my defense, I did take the time to "show" the guy what the +15 offset looked like and gave a brief explanation of offset. Oh and my S13 is my POS daily driver.

I did state the photos were of a 15x6 195/60 +25 offset rim in my original post, which in fact they are. (highlighted in red above of original post) So, the photos would be correct in showing the difference between +15 and a +25 rim, and incorrect of a stock rim. The stock rims would not stick out as much, since they are +40, and the reason members picked up on the error. I hope this gets it all straighten out for you S13Leprechaun, babowc, and Gjohnson7

I'm hoping you think the stock set up is horrible and not my efforts to help the guy on the thread.
I have given him plenty of good information and pics for him to get the idea of what offset is, and what to run on his car. If he reads the post of us talking about the stock set up, the 300zx rims and, the +15 rims, he should have it down, we have beaten up the error enough.
I'm done with it, I hope you are. Unless you want to help him out. You could take off the rims on your car, put some stock rims on it, take some pics, remove the stock rims, put back the original rims, down load the pics, and post them on here. That would be a lot of work....it's what i did!! You see I have the 300zx rims on my car. I had to take them off, put on my Watanabe RS8 16x8 +15's, take the pics, remove the nabe's, put back on the 300zx, down load the pics, and post them on the thread. A lot of effert for some guy I don't even know.
