aight so when i got the car the upper chain was broken. figures

took it off and rememberd seeing a chunk out of the head of fresh metal.
so i dug through my pictures and found one
here it is
anyone else seen this?
ive taken 2 broken chain guide motors apart other than mine and seen it on both.

just thought it was funny and should share lol... luckily didnt screw anything up. motor runs like a charm.

i poked it and was like oooooh its clean =D

and i dont think i can do any kind of cam swap lol.
ive got a head in my garage no worries m8

The upper chain guide fell off and that is where it got wedged for a while. Obviously it fell into the lower chain and that is why it broke. Actually you may be able to use the head still with a little repairing.

oh and it wasnt wedged. it got smashed into it momentarilly. because the timing piece was sitting ontop of my chain tinglining around.

i think this is why the ORIGINAL OWNER sold me the car for 2400 dollars lol....
probably heard a TSIHNNNNNGGGGGGG and was like WTF WTF WTF M8

i dont think ill be able to remove the camshaft pieces without further damage. so no dissasembly without head replacement lol.... or some dremeling. but thats not exactly smart now is it.
