Did a search and after reading all that I could find I did not find the info I'm looking for. Can somebody explain the difference between the HKS Step 1 & Step 2 264's?? Performance wise. Im shopping around for cams and need some assestance from you perfromance guru's.http://forums2.freshalloy.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Which cam would be better for my set up? I'll be running 550 injectors, T28 turbo, and ALL your bolt on performance parts. I've picked up some Greddy valve springs, Apexi head gasket, ARP head studs, Trust rocker arm stoppers and just looking for a set of cams to complete the head. Should I go with the Step 1 264's or the Stage 2 264's. I think I can get a good deal on the step 2 264's from a local shop. If you guys think I can run the HKS Step 2 264's, I'll just pick them up and be done with it.
Thanks.....

step one is 10.5 mm of lift and step two is 11.5 mm of lift. The duration of 256 and 264 just determines where your powerband is going to be. For a t28 I would go with a 256 or 264 step 2. It really just depends where you want your power. 256 will give you a little more low to mid range power where a 264 will shift it a little higher.

Get tomei 256 cams. When you get a bigger turbo then go bigger on cams.
