Quick questin guys, im having a little trouble taking out my KA wire harness on my 95 240. I dont know weather i pull it from inside my car, or i try pullingit out from the engine bay, if that made sense....It connected to a rectangular shape plastic guard type thing, so its kind of hard to pull it from the engine bay out. Any recommendations?

Thanks.

If the rectangular shaped guard type thing, you are talking about, is white. It is called the SMJ (Super Multi-Junction). Use a 10mm socket or wrench to unbolt the center portion. From there pulling the harness into the passenger compartment maybe easer.

hmm, ok. i didnt see a 10mm bolt on it, only saw that on the part that connects right into the ECU. I'll double check tho.

There should be a hole in the center of the white plastic cover that you are talking about. In that hole is a 10mm bolt that holds the connector to the ECU.

SMJ is on the driver side of the car, im pretty sure hes talking about pulling the EFI harness which comes in on the passenger side straight to the ECU.
