List all of the conversions you can think of that you can do to 13 converting to s15

I am currently waiting for financial to go through to get my rb25 but shortly after I plan to do a whole make-over....s15 style.

I plan to get the obvious s15 front end

then s15 dash/console (RHD)

Now I want to do more but I do not know what other conversions are possible....

seats? door panels? S15 Silvia steering column/wheel??

etc.....

None of it fits your car.

The tail lights only fit 92-95 civic 4drs...

The headlights only fit on cavaleirs with drift body kits... oh and some special JDM model del-sols.

The seats and dash go into ONLY 4dr ELECTRIC BLUE 95-99 SENTRAS, and I hear its a bolt in...

I think trying to get any of that to fit your car would be silly. Just buy a Bomex kit, a set of 17x6.5 racing hartzzzzz, and see if maaco has special on neon orange any time in the near futuere. Doneskies.

probably not the best place to make a first post but here it goes

if you want just the front end, thats easy you can just buy the body panels as a kit from about a million different websites

if you want the taillights your looking at some serious fab work ie big dollars and not really worth it anyway

as far as i know no s-chassis dash will fit into a different model without major fab work on the dash, i think someone actually made an s13 with a 14's interior but the dimensions of all the s-chassis cars are all different if I remember correctly

this is all nice but it will still never be an s15 without the roof line,which is very distinctive part of the look of that car in the first place, which is virtually impossible to graft onto another car

you also mentioned the door panels, never heard of any differences between them but I doubt they would fit either

and all of this is made completely null as any interior parts are going to be EXTREMELY RARE ie ridiculously expensive

just do the front end conversion and leave it at that, anything else and it will probably turn out poorly, or at least not worth the money you would have to put into it

the cost of doing this would be more than just buying a real s15 in the first place and making it legal (if its even possible, I've heard both ways)

My thoughts also. You will probably have to do a RHD to LHD before you can even get to the dash setup

I would just buy a S15 or stick with the front end conversion only.

I dont know if its factory but there are some lhd S15's Id say to do that much stuff it would be pretty expensive and in the end will look pretty discusting

I didn't even know the dash conversion was possible until I saw it myself on a hatch. It looks amazingly different and better. With the dash it'self costing 750 with cluster I'm already going to do the RHD conversion so a total of 2200 and I will have the dash conversion which is alot better looking then the s15.
I don't have enough money to get an s15 nor would I want to sell my s13...
It is possible for me to do conversions which in the end will cost me about 5 grand or less to get front end conversion, widened rear qp, and dash conversion.

Now i'm looking to change out my old raggity seats also so that's why this thread was posted to find out information that you guys keep wheeling away from...

does anybody know if you can put s15 front seats in s13?

Oh and does anybody know that company that makes custom HUD clusters?

Yes s15 seats fit. Yes you can save the money your wasting on the dash and stupid stuff to actually buy things that are worth it. For all that money your spending on a dash and rhd so you can be jdm tyte you can build your motor.

I've never seen a s15 dash with the s15 front end
So I am doing it.
Not about being jdm tyte or anything other then the basic fact that
I am willing to spend that money to have a sick but unique s13.5 -.-

I've read alot of threads and I know alot of people hate the s15 front end conversion alone. But this is all about personal preference.

It's been done. I had pictures a while ago of an S13 Silvia with an S15 engine and interior. I don't have them on my computer anymore, but I know they are posted here on Zilvia.

So it doesn't have an S15 front end, that's done all the time.

So it's not a Fastback, the interior is identical.

There is also a build thread here on Zilvia of a gentleman doing a full metal S15 front and rear swap on his fastback. I believe he is using Porsche 944 rear fenders with ALOT of modification.

All I'm saying is UNIQUE your ideas are not.

Taniguchi, no need to explain it to him. I was trying to help by showing a picture of an S15 dash, since I had posted one myself. His imagination is evidently not up to the task of picturing that dash in a fastback, although it's exactly the same, on a car with an S15 front, even though they are everywhere. Perhaps my newest link will give his imagination something else to ponder.

If not, then I suppose he'll just have to build it himself before he can imagine what it looks like.

I just joined zilvia, i'm not looking to be cool or anything Im looking for conversions that people have done successfully the conversions i know of I will be doing and already said i'd be posting pics so why ask people on zilvia?

So that's where zilvia comes in , posting this thread to see what other people might have done or seen done or to get their input on the difficulties of these conversions. any helpful information.

If there's one thing you learn about zilvia its that you don't make a thread unless you ABSOLUTELY have to. You will get ripped on all day long. (I speak from experience... see those red squares?) hem let me see. I have put a S15 gauge cluster in one of my S13's now sold. Though its dope, I would never do it again. More work and hassle than cool factor factors imo.

Now you think you have Zilvia figured out? Wrong. See first mistake you make is instead of coming here and searching the database for something that might have been done you just roll out and start asking questions. Questions I might add that taken at face value from most newb's could be construed as a ricer switching over from Honda's.
Now there is a high intolerance here for those kinds because there is a fair amount of people here that know a fair amount and have around in the 240 thing a long time.
Oh ya second offense was getting upset because your not doing the footwork and people are pointing that out.
They are not in the wrong, for every time you get upset with someone its because you have done something yourself to make you upset with them. In your case you did not search and they called you on it and you got upset.

First thing I do when I am trying to find stuff out is search and read. Why? I would rather be prepared before asking a question especially if I can prevent asking it by searching and reading.

Cliff notes:

1. If you want to be unique going w/ an S-chassis is a recipe for failure.

2. S15 fronts/rears/interiors/seats/tails have all been done before, so no matter what the combination you still wont be original/unique.

3. Your getting all this flak because YOU didn't search, if your on NWN I'm sure they preach the same thing there(I wouldn't know as thats the first thing I do when looking for info on forums).

4. Getting pissed at us because you didn't do your research hurts you not us, in fact it makes us all :keke:.

5. S13.5 coupes look horrible, S13 fronts on coupes or even S13.4 coupes are 1,000,000x better. Don't believe me, look up S15 fronts on coupes, then look up "yuri" on here or anyone who has an S13 front on their coupe. I'm positive you will agree.

In closing I am sorry to say if you are going to be doing all this to your car to be original or "unique" (which according to manlaw should never be uttered by a male) your going to wind up let down. I have an S15 front on my hatch and in hindsight wish I would have left the flip ups and just done a fixed headlight conversion.
