I am currently in the process of relocating my battery and wiring the power wires to the distribution block. I have the main power wire, the power wire for the switch to the e-fan, and 2 power wires from the fuse box. I decided to run new 8 gauge wire for the 2 fuse box wires cause they were too short to reach to the distribution block. I traced the two wires and it turns out they were coming from the same terminal  Is there a reason there are two wires or can I just run one lower gauge wire? Thanks.

Run a single 8gauge if you want, but the easier way is to bolt the starter lead to the block, then connect your battery wire from the starter as well, saves from having to run the extra length of wire.
