I've seen a special on the Travel Channel about the Road of Death. You have to go through an inspection before you can travel that road.

I'll man up and admit that I'd be too pussy to walk across the wooden planks.

I'd go down any of the other paths/roads though :bigok:

In Brazil, there is one called (Highway of Death)
BR-116 runs in a north-south way, near, but not in Brazil's coastline. It is the major Brazilian highway, and it is the second longest of the country.

The Curitiba-Sao Paulo section of the highway is known as Rodovia Régis Bittencourt, nicknamed "Rodovia da Morte" (Highway of death), due to its many accidents caused by the unstable weather conditions of the region.

In Mexico theres a road called "El Espinazo del Diablo" (The Devil's Backbone), which is supposed to be quite treacherous, too. I've never been their but my dad has and he says its crazy.

Convo was like:
Girl: Blah Blah
Guy: haha, you hit my truck
Camera man: haha, he broke your light
Truck driver: (Gets out a minute later) haha, looks like I hit your light right on, oh look, no damage to my truck :keke:

Those wooden planks, wow I hope they don't have termites or wood-rot.

Those roads cut through the mountain, I wonder how long it took them to get through (since they didn't blast it) and if they have any supports on the inside.

History Channel did a badass speacial called "DEATH ROAD".
http://store.aetv.com/html/product/index.jhtml?id=76825
Unbelievable what people see as everyday normal life.
You can pay to take a driven tour through the pass in a Land Rover.
After seeing the special I added that to my list of places to go.
