ok i am ready to drop in a s13 sr20det red top into my s14 chasis...while the engine is out is there anything i should do..so far i changed the rad hoses and heater hoses and put in new engine mounts..any thing else?

Clutch, flywheel, waterpump, new belts to name a few.

U neeed to paint ur engine bay with POR to rust proof it every swap i do i paint the engine bay......

bleed the lifters
get new oil pump
replace chain tensioner with the updated one
replace chain guides
new filters, plugs
etc.

re-route the turbo coolant line to where it isn't behind the engine and a pain in the ass to get to. i wish i would have known this before i put my engine in. re-route it to an easier place to access, and ditch your hardlines and get steel braided turbo lines.

haha agreed its the only way to go with the s14
