well, i have a 91 celica gt 5 speed with new paint, rims, muffler/intake that gets 28.8 mpg that i could possibly trade...

that engine just doesn't seem like its going to last by the pictures. that coupler off the turbo seems like it has to blow off all the time under load.

could u get a shot of the outside of the car as a whole so we can see the whole thing? and an engine bay shot from a little bit farther away.

what dents are u talking about?

is that a ziptie that i see on a coupler to your blow off valve?

does it leak/burn oil or coolant?

Sorry not intrested in a Celica
So far I had the car for about 2 years and its been turbo for 1 year and the motor still pulls hard tell this very day when i drove it to class. The couplers are temporary, but ill leave it as it is if i decide to sell the car or trade.

what dents are u talking about?

there are dents on both rear quarter panels and front driver fender and passenger headlight small> these came with the car when i purchased it
Sorry my camera is not that great but here ar the dent pics

Yes thats a clamp and a industrial heavy duty ziptie > never came loose at all plus you can reuse it as well lol

does it leak/burn oil or coolant?

NO leaks at all and radiator hoses are brand new like 2 weeks old and radiator with 1year warranty also as well the little hoses underneath the intake mani were replaced
Its pretty dry underneath and very little buildup

im thinking that id have a hard time fronting $6000+ for a budget for this car. id have to have it shipped first of all and it has dents/damage on all corners, the headlight cover is kinda dinged up, the front bumper is all scraped up and it seems kinda sloppy under the hood with bad couplers/zipties, etc. whats the deal with the hood being so far up? ive never understood the purpose of that?

however, it does look pretty nice for the most part. i love the color and rim combination. ill save your thread for future possibilities if all else fails. good luck with your sale. let me know if u dont ever get it sold.

For the most part > selling my car is in the air but i'm not sure
SLOPPY under the hood actually its pretty clean and dry i had it pressured wash the first week i had it turbo> then again its dirty right now and i still need to pull some emission hoses other then that its pretty clean in person.
Oh yeah the hood thing is cause of so much heat build up from the turbo> i didnt want to risk melting something or warping the hood

If i don't sale her then i'm gonna go all out on it and kit, hood, paint, up boost 2way and should be good for another couple months lol

4k cash? ino you said you wanted 6k but there is a lot of work to be done, and its not tuned properly so that would mean at least $500 worth of dyno tuning. then an ecu tune cuz safc just dont cut it. also, i wont flame you on the car, but flame ya on the way you spelled flaming, There are many other parts i may have forgot to mention but this is TESTING WATERS
so no FLAMMING thankyou :D

hahaha the work to be done is body to pull dents and dynoing it will not be yourself of course> (SHOP) at thats not up to me on price cuz its the people u know. The AFC NEO not SAFC either way is hooked up but not tuned for more boost yet. By the way 6k is what ill like. Oh yeah thanks for the spell check lol :o
This thread by the way is testing waters not for sure.

clean build. nice to see someone local using jgs products. how do you like the intake manifold?? or did you swap it all as a combo.

BTW dyno tuning shouldn't cost $500 if you have a good tuner with good equipment who is familiar with that type of vehicle. $500 would be like an enthalpy or JWT ecu tune.

the hood prop idea is to help heat leave the engine bay when sitting or at low speed (typically what you would deal with while sitting in traffic) once normal speed takes over its useless.

I say keep it unless you get a full offer and get an alarm

no, i wouldnt use a safc, hence the $500 price tag. i get tunes done by doug over at u.p. garage. pretty well known up here. for safc tune, prob just like $100 from him. i would get a full blown e-manage ultimate or something similar tune which is why it would cost so much. he'd have it running as if it were made from factory turbo'd :D

oh and btw, enthalpy and jwt tunes suck.....seriously i have had no luck with jwt tunes for my 300TT and just to fix it i had to pay to send it back + $150 retune charge. its all based on what you have, id prefer to have my car on a dyno and have it tuned "perfectly"
