I NEED to know what pads and rotors are the same as stock 180SX brakes. I have searched, (this and multiple other forums). I have found evidence that is somewhat contradictory. So if anyone has ever owned a 180 and replaced the brakes I would really like to know what you used.

So far I have found:
- 93-99 Altima or 2002 Sentra SE-R rotors (they are the same part number)

- 90-99 Maxima brake pads (this are not the same part # as altima/ Sentra SE-R pads)

Is this correct? Is this what you used?

Thanks.

Yeah, mid 90s. If you go 5 lug you can just use all the parts from the maxima, altima rotors are 4 lug, just get parts for 95 altima/maxima

I have this swap and I used 95 altima rotors (4 lug) and 95 maxima pads. Hope this helps.

The s14 ABS brake pads are also the same. Not sure about s13 ABS pads.

Did you start with a stock 180SX brake setup, or did you just piece altima/maxima stuff together to immitate 180 stuff. Because mine is not a swap, it is stock and came on my car.

Yokota I know you had one. You must have replaced the brakes.

I have stock 180 brakes on my car. If you are 4 lug get rotors for a 95 altima and pads for a 95 maxima, if you are 5 lug get both rotors and pads for 95 maxima. Done!

I started with stock usdm brakes. I bought the jdm 180sx calipers then the usdm 95 altima rotors/usdm 95 maxima pads. It all bolted together without any problem. Go to a local parts store and match the stuff up if your unsure.

Just an FYI: These brake sizes do NOT fit an CA18DET powered 180SX. I found that out the hard way. :naw:

I have Brakes off my 180. Calipers/rotors/4-lug hubs even, that I'm not using.
My friend who has a Silvia swapped his brakes out for brakes from a 240 in the local junkyard. Easy to replace at all times.

And I'm pretty sure cars with the CA18 have slightly different brakes than SR20 equipped cars.

this obstacle can be overcome with a q45 or z32 brake upgrade :eek3d:

if you need the rears you need to get them from japan or change your brakes...

now that the nice part of my post is done....
its called Google also probably would help if you posted in Canada based forums... where people have and have/had jdm cars... there are probably tons of ones that people took of there cars when swapping to 5 lug...
you fail at the internet...
