(dumb question)will s15 trany fit on a ka with bell housing swap(u can never be tooo sure)?will i still have 2 get a custom drive shaft???

the speed sensor on the s15 tranny is on the rear pumpin from what i undestand... i also understand if you search this has been discussed a lot lately... itll keep flamage to a min.(eeee- not something to sa right now with socal burning)-my bad. lol.

Evertything is possible with money...just dont think itll be worth it...use that money to run a S15 tranny for a Z32 tranny instead. That tranny will be last tranny you'll need, will even withstand more abuse than a Os gilken set.

You can do it, I have done it.LOL Use the speed gear and the ball bearing that holds in place But you have to machine the output shaft to use the gear. And there you have it. :tweak:

Evertything is possible with money...just dont think itll be worth it...use that money to run a S15 tranny for a Z32 tranny instead. That tranny will be last tranny you'll need, will even withstand more abuse than a Os gilken set.

I agree. Get a z32 it will take the abuse unlike the s15 tranny which has good gearing but it is to weak.

I'm assuming OP wants it for the extra gear? Don't really see the need tough, now an AE92 on the other hand could use 7 gears...

6spd KA! so you can do what the corolla guys do.. mess with the gearing and timing so you can have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th gear drifts (with the KA) and 5th & 6th for on the streets and freeways!

s15 tranny is %100 pointless. The final drive is the same but the tranny is weaker.

Who the hell wants to deal with that?

Not to mention the speed sensor issues. UGH.

that would be nice.they cant be too weak that guy beat da hell out of there s15 in japan..and dont u have to get a custom plate made to use z32 trannies???
