Whats the deal with s14 studs not fitting in z32 rear hubs?
This pisses me the fuck off because now I've spent all my money on all these parts im installing.... read up on EVERYTHING trying to make sure there are no hangups. And whatdoyafuckin know..... my rear hubs need to be milled out or I need to get replacement studs and I've got absolutely no more money...
So my question is.... is this just such common knowledge that it doesnt need to be discussed here on zilvia or what? cuz I cant find shit on the studs not fitting for anyone else.
WTF is the deal!

a lot of cars are different but use the same parts.... I was under the impression z32 rear hubs = s14 rear hubs

What is your guys' opinion on milling the hubs out very slightly so I can get those fuckers pressed in?
Im worried it might throw the hub off or something.
Id just get z32 rear studs or try to trade my s14 studs but I dont know of any place that would even sell just the z32 rear studs without the spacers and I dont want to wait for shipping if I found a place online.
Does the dealer sell longer wheel studs?
I basically need this done ASAP so I can get a job and GET THE FUCK OUT OF THIS HOUSE!

Yeah the dealer sells long studs... they are called Nismo's
Trying to put S14 fronts into into Z32 rears?!?!?!? Fronts with fronts and rear with rears.....
Reference can be found here along with Nismo wheel studs.

Thanks man.... I know we've had our differences in the past.....whatevs...
good googly moogly those shits are expensive!!!!!!
Why would any car maker make the front and rear studs different!!!? Its just stupid.
Guess Ill have to suck the parts guys' dick for some studs...... I dont know how else im gona get em haha
after that it looks like I'll have to worry about them breaking on me.... read a couple of posts of people having probs with them snapping.....
it never ends

those require 1.5 pitch lug nuts..... so Id have to get new lug nuts. In the end the price will be about the same as some Nismo studs. I bought Gorilla lug nuts from kuah which are 1.25 and I'd like to use them anyway.

Dont hate on him. my friend bought h&r spacers with extended wheel studs and the knurles on the studs were the wrong size there were even for a s13 and thats what they were installed on. sorry about your luck. I think h&r needs to research there studs a little more.

yeah I thought everything was going so well too....got the front done with no problem... im basically replacing almost all the suspension pieces with adjustable arms from SPL along with KTS coilovers, replacing the rest of the bushings with poly stuff, 5 lug swap and 300zx brake conversion
The rear bushings were a pain to replace.... all the upright bushings and such . Finally got those done only to find out im missing some springs from my z32 backing plates.....THEN THIS!!!!!

I would think the milling would throw it off, but i may be wrong, just like drilling 5 lug rotors for 4 lugs, i know that some rotors are hub centric and line up correctly if you have the other lined up.
But, in some sense, if they are the same, should be okay. hope you find what your lookin for man.

Yeah but the ARP studs are shitload stronger than Nismo studs...
