FS- 1997 White 240sx SE w/ RB25DET 300 WHP

Up for sale is my pearl white 1997 RB powered 240sx. It is finally time for me to move on to a different project, and leave my 240 in the hands of a new owner. As stated in the title the original KA24 was swapped for a Series 1 RB25DET from an R33 Skyline GT-ST. For those not Skyline-savvy, the RB25 is a 2.5 litre turbocharged inline 6. In its stock form the motor puts out ~250 hp, approximately 100 more than a stock KA24. The swap has been the most reliable project that I've worked on. Because it is my daily driver, I made sure every aspect of the car was as "stock" as possible (yes! it even has power steering).
I just recently put the 2000th mile on the car in its swapped form, without a single mechanical malfunction. I was told by the engine importer (Tiger Japanese) that the motor set had between 40k-60k kilometers when it was shipped. I have no way of verifying this claim, but I can assure you the motor is in perfect running condition, as I took extra time during the swap to disassemble the engine and run through the FSM checking EVERYTHING along the way. With the swap, I replaced all the belts, fluids, and gaskets, as well as installed a new thermostat and fuel filter. Since I have run nothing but synthetic oils, which have been changed twice since the swap. Basically the car is a reflection of who I am, therefore I tried to maintain it as best I could.
Engine Modifications are as follows:
-F5 Fujita Intake Filter
-Greddy Style Front facing Intake Manifold
-Top-Mount Tubular Manifold
-38mm External Wastegate
-Holset HX35 Turbocharger
-Q45 Throttle Body
-Z32 Mass airflow sensor
-Circut Sports Oil Catch Can
-Custom full 3" Turbo back Exhaust
-Full 3" Intercooler piping with FMIC
-Nismo Fuel Pressure Regulator
-Walbro 255 Lph Fuel Pump
-16" Electric radiator Fan
-6-puck Sprung Clutch
The engine was tunned on an Apex'i Power FC by RLZ Engineering in Concord, NC. At the time of the tune, the car made 300 WHP and 250 ft-lbs at 10 psi of boost. The car is an absolute blast to drive, especially in the higher RPMs :naughty: . I will be happy to take potential buyers for a ride, and show off each and every one of the turbocharged, six cylinders.
Though not in my eyes, the car does have imperfections, namely cosmetic blemishes. I have included pictures, but they really must be seen in person, for the full effect. The passenger side rear quarter panel has been dented, as well as the driver side front fender. There is a fairly significant crease in the hood, and a dime sized chip in the paint. Otherwise, the paint is beautiful and the body is in surprisingly good shape for a ten year old car. Also, the car has no AC (in the RB-240 community AC is extremely rare).
My asking price for the car is $13,000. I came to this price by considering the cost incurred by the swap and the rarity of the "kouki" body style. I am open to all trades, let me know what you've got. Also, I am a barganing man, but at the same time I am not hurrying to sell.
I can be reached by Email at [email protected] or by telephone anytime at (919)824-9906...if I dont answer please leave a message and I will return your call with haste. The car is located in Raleigh, NC on NC State's campus for local inqueries....call to come check it out.
