no more knocking

ok so now i cant hear any more knocking,but now my sr red top is vibrating like crazy funny thing is that it doesnt do it constanly....it goes back to normal idle but then suddenly drops to the point were it wants to go out.i was thinking it could be timing or some sensor...help please!!!

why was it knockin before? And how did you get rid of the knocking?

it was under the valve cover,it stopped by itself...the car was sittting their for a couple of weeks without running so maybe thats why the vibrating thing happen.

This is the best solution I can provide from the information you included:

Obviously the car gnomes came by and fixed the car without you knowing.

Unfortunately, one of them left a 12mm box end wrench behind and it is causing your engine to vibrate now.

All you have to do is leave $53.36 on top of the Valve Cover, a used left sock on top of your right front tire, and a snowglobe from Denver, Colorado on the dash board.

The gnome in question will then return and retrieve his wrench, and all will be well.


If that doesn't work, I guess you'll have to figure out what really happened to the rattle, and determine where your vibration is coming from.

but what does a "knock" actually sound like?
Im curious, I never heard it..
I'd imagine it'd sound like it actually is described.....
