Hey guys..... I have a question regarding the 300zx brake conversion. My question is, on the rear 300zx brake caliper there is a hard line coming from the caliper to a bracket that is attached to the caliper. Using the brake conversion lines, does the conversion line attach the hard line that I mentioned above, or does that hard line get removed and the brake conversion line go straight into the caliper itself?
Thanks...

Did you think about what you just asked first?

The conversion line is used to replace the existing OE parts, so of course it deletes the OE hardline and bracket.

Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to double check before removing the parts from the caliper. I wasn't sure if the conversion line connected to the caliper itself or to the end of the hard line coming off the caliper. (I haven't bought them yet.) I tend to have bad luck when removing hard lines. The bolts end up getting rounded whenever I try to remove them from MBC or where ever they may be located. I did not want to remove them to find out they were to be used.:hs: When looking around for conversion lines, I've noticed that some use a banjo fitting at the end that goes to the caliper and some have a fitting that screws into the caliper. Which one is better? or does it really matter?

flare nut wench
Go to Sears and get some

This is what they look like - You'll need 10mm to service most brakes.
