K first off...you dont know the exact parameters of the ECU. Just cuz it started the seller's car, doesnt mean its tuned for that (even the owner dont seem to know exactly what its tuned for). Japanese gas isnt the same in the states, they tune on higher octane gas compared to the states crappy gas. Buying ECUs like those are the best way to blow your engine.

Thanks man, told him that i found out the ecu isnt compatible.Really appriciate your advice.the last thing i want to do is damage the motor.Looks like theres no way to hide from the tune.Anyone know any spots in NY for the greddy emanage ultimate? Most ot the shops around here said they dont do it.

I concur. Do not buy an ECU programmed for a different car and plug it into your car.

If you want to tune your setup, it's much much better to buy a standalone and get a shop to tune it for you.

What makes you think the circuit board is even intact from the picture? You don't know if it still even works.
