Is it easy to remove this part from my SR20DET engine?

If it's under the TB than it must be easy to get to...

The TB is only held in with 4 bolts where the intake pipe bolts into the TB...

Just wondering why you are removing it? That's the idle controller, no?

I'd think it's not too hard, just that one nut and the spring should come loose.

Going to be plating that part too?

I wouldn't imagine that it's going to be hard to reassemble - they have to put it together in the factory somehow! :D

Yeah the plan is to re plate it but the spring is really tight. I think it is the idle controller but not 100% sure how easy it will be to refit. Might take the TB off to further investigate :)

I loosened the nut and prised the washer back, which gave enough clearance to remove the spring :)
