Hello guys/ gals. I bought a 92 240sx coupe back in march. Long story short I spun a rod bearing. Don't know how, but it happened. It looked pretty bad when I took it apart, metal flakes everywhere, pan and up to the head, motor is pretty much done for I think. It has 138,000 miles on the block.

I got another ka24de for free that I had total intentions of rebuilding. It ran when pulled. my buddy replaced that motor with a sr20.

As of right now, I have no time what so-ever, and i need to get the beast rolling again. Any recommendations on a engine re-builder in the concord bay area?? Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks in advanced!

Try Stirtz Machine in Oakland (rebuild to full race) or Rebello racing Engines in Danville / San Ramon?

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a shop as well? I want to do a engine overhaul and diy is out of the question since I work full time. =(
