I accidently cracked the center garnish that came with my kouki led's I got from aspec pretty bad yesterday. I'm unsure what route I wanna go right now. I really hate to fork out 300 again for another set, so I was thinking about just finding a oem garnish forsale. But I'm wondering how it would look as far as the colors of the reflectors between the oem garnish and the kouki leds?
Any ideas or does any one have pics of this combo?
Thanks for any input

the red parts on the outter LED section would not match the flat red on the OEM one

Alright heres what I've one currently...I've painted my oem zenki garnish black cept for the reverse reflectors. It came out 90% the way I wanted. Gonna wait for it to dry, claybar and put on tommorow. If I like the way it looks...thinking about getting another zenki garnish, but this time get it professionaly painted.
I know alot of you have had paintjobs or do paint, any idea on how much that would cost. This is the only cheap route I can think of to look decent and keep the led tails wich are still in good shape. Only way I can justtify putting another 300 out is if the led tails and the garnish were smashed..and not just the garnish
:aw:Good job, post up pictures when you get parts back on your car.

Yeah lol. I repainted again. For some reason when I use spray paints that aren't flat, meaning they have a clear already in them, they don't seem settle well. Then again I'm not an expert at spray painting. Hopefully it'll do to get by. I resprayed using rustoleum textured paint like I used on my zenki lip. Came out more even. If I like it it with the kouki led's, I plan on getting another garnish and painting that one over in attempt to get it perfect.
I retaped the reverse reflectors so many times, that the edges have layers. Hopefully that won't happen 2nd time around.
Guess thats the only way to make the best out of a bad situation. In all honesty though I like the way my led reverse bulbs light up in the zenki reflectors than the kouki euro reflectors.
All I gotta do now is wait for paint to dry by tommorow afternoon and put emblem back on.
