hey everyone juss today i took out my distributor to swap it with a newer one
but when i put the newer one in it sounded like i t wanted to start but didnt
then i was like WTF??? tehn i put my old one back in all wires are correct and
stuff but no start it cranks and everything wanting to start almost there but
doesnt is my whole timing or distributor all fuked up now>??? or what can i
do?

i didnt juss take off the distributor cap i took it allll the way outta the motor...

you pull the cap to check the rotor button position

More likely your timing is now off. Did you set the timing to TDC before removal and/or made a mark on how the gear lined up when you pulled the original distrbutor?

Yes i maked on the distributor and the block exactly where it lines up

hey i was wonderin once i put my distributor back in and line it up and set the motor to TDC which way should i satrt turning it then cranking the motor at the same time so i can get the timing back to where it is so itll start again???

fixed it timing was all the way backwards friends came over and helped out runs beatiful again tahnks everyone for ur help
