Ok, after spending about 3 hours to take apart the freakin fukin dash! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW PISSED I AM!
Anyway, I bought Indigo Gauges ... nice right? Well, nice if your paying to have someone else put them in. Does anyone have a clue whree I can splice into the power and ground .. or which wires so that when I put up the headlights the inside gauges light up to? I was think the head light power and ground but some where closer under the dash?
Thank you!!!!

Try the dimmer switch. thats what i used. all you need is a voltage indicator(one of those cheap ones)and try all the wires out to see which one gets power when the lights are turned on. Same with the ground except there should be no power showing. Its as simple as that unless youre talkin about something else <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/lookaround.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':look:'>

Aaaahh good idea. Plus the dimmer control will let me adjust the dimmer settings to. Good one. But i thought i seen like, 3 or 4 wires back there. Do you know off hand? are they just red and black?
Also the Guages came with a dimmer too.. hopefully that wont screw anything up! Thanks!

On my S14 there were 3 wires. 1) Ground, 2) Constant Power 3) Dimmer Control. If your new guages came with an independent dimmer control, wire it to the constant power.

Yes, it did come with an independant dimmer control, you mean wire the power of the gauges to the constant power of the dimmer? damn it, which one is it? There is like, 4 wires back there. There is a black (obviously ground), then a red (obviously power i would presume), and then a purple one and some other wire color. Not to sure! I thought the constant wire was yellow on most cars. But, if not, any takers on a different color?
I do have a mutimeter, but I do not wanna go splicing wires until I have an idea of which is it. I can just wire it up to the multimeter right? and when I turn on the lights the constant should recieve power which I can see on the multimeter?
Thanks.

Actually it's much simpler to conect to the PCB on the back of the gauges. Just find the tracks where the gauge bulbs are conected to, make sure which one is Ground and which one is 12V and solder the cables from the indiglo to the tracks. Much shorter cables and those tracks are already controlled by the dimmer.
