View Full Version : Fair price? thinking of selling.

i have a 91. body is in good condition. only one rust spot under the driver door. barely visible. paint is still good. motor only had been driven for 4k miles. tuned for 220 hp. is it fair for $6500?
NOT SELLING WITH WHEELS.

list of mods:

sr20 redtop.
Greddy front mount V spl.
Greddy bov
Greddy oil pan
Greddy Boost controller
Greddy turbo timer
Greddy Down pipe.
Greddy e-manage blue with tune.
Greddy 60mm warning boost gauge. ( along with water and oil temp )
Greddy Seat harness. Only one left youll ever find.
Greddy Type S suspension
Cobra Bucket seat with bride seat rail.
300zx 26mm calipers.
Seibon Carbon Oem hood.(just put in last month)
Kouki Tails.
Solid Project nissan motor mounts.
Nismo Thermo Stat.
Nismo Adjustable FPR
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Exedy Stage 2 clutch
oh and s5 5 lug conversion.

still runing stock rad but i have lower samco hose and uper samco hose for sr rad. would come with package also.

Well I calculated out the parts in prices if they were new and somewhat discounted.

Your total without the price of the car is roughly $9,000.

So I would say yes that is a very fair price for that car.

yeah if everything is clean, safe, and in order... anywhere between 7-9k. nice car :)

I'd pay $5k...

So that means it's probably "worth" $7k.

yeh. the low ballers. but it cant be helped. i treat my car better than i treat myself. i clean the paint once a week. then wax. polish the exhaust. vacuum. change oil every 2500 miles. anyways heres more pix

i remember this car:) my buddy maciej was lookin at it awhile back. He had the cash...he was just a cheapass..

nah its not fair. there are two bpu S14s w/ S14 SR20s on the first page of the car f/s section going for same/less then you want.

id say 5k max

Are they in as good condition though. Finding a S14SR is not as hard as finding a clean hatchback.

I think $6500 is a fair asking price, the trick is many in the market aren't going to have the cash for it.

Over the years I have learned whatever I do to my car is more than likely going to net me nothing on the re-sell.
