I purchased this car in 2001 and it has been my daily driver off and on.
I can guarantee the oil was changed before 2,500 miles each time for the past 6 years and that all upkeep was done to ensure a properly functioning car.

This car drives better than it did new, due to the extensive upgrades I have made. All work was performed by trusted mechanics, with all the electrical upgrades by an MECP certified installer [me]. A lot of the replacement parts were done as preventative maintenance.
This car has never left me stranded in all 6 years of ownership, it handles like a dream, brakes safer and better than OEM. It is surprisingly fast since it’s only performance upgrade was an Injen Intake.

Some highlights include actual jdm s13 belts w/panels, digital climate control, almost new interior, power sunroof, power windows and locks, alarm, system w/2 10's in a small/light box, clarion headunit. This car could have a turbo strapped to it for about $1000 and it would handle it just fine. Great car for Chicago winters. No matter how cold, it always starts, and never overheated.
I hate to sell my car but I have decided to sell as I now need to drive a kid-friendly car.

need something 4 door for future kids, so i cant do the celica.
no oil or coolant burning, and i park in the same spot everyday and have not seen any drips or fluild. stock headgasket, no wrecks-just a scratch on the rear bumper that was fixed. Was 90 % rust free, now 100%, there was a small hole in drivers frame rail which was por15'd and welded with 1/8 steel, the entire underbody was coated with por15 to prevent any corrosion. no lsd as my car is all stock with the exception of the intake. power windows and locks like the postings says, even has new keyless entry/alarm, no cruise control. has ice cold ac that was recharged within the year, power steering works great. car was never rebuilt and has the original motors, has 156,000 miles[most were highway] and the motor still runs very strong and solid. The clutch is a nissan oem replacement and was done maybe about 2 years ago, and shows no signs on wear or slipping, trans has not grinded on me and shifts smooth thanks to the megan short shifter. the brakes are upgraded to the drilled rotors with ebc/ceramic pads that is pretty new as the car stops great. there are 2 newer tires which are kuhmo all season, and 2 older ones that still have 5000-10000 miles left on them and are eagle rs1's i believe. most new parts were listed above but were basically preventative as the car did not actually need them- i just did them before a problem would arise since this is my daily driver. new parts include alternator, water pump, optima battery, oem clutch, starter, coils, struts, bushings, idle valve, engine sensors,coile/ignitor,strut bars, pads and rotors, new fluids in trans and diff, motor and trans mounts, master and slave clutch cylinders, almost all new interior.

ratings

interior 10/10 the cleanest s13 interior i have seen yet

engine 9/10 runs great-subtracted a point for the mileage-even though it could do many many more

trans 9/10 see above

exterior 7/10 good color paint job but the clear coat has runs-after 1 saturday of work and a $250 oem style paint job this car would be perfect

total 8.5/10- everything has been taken care of and this car will last for years to come, the suspension, brakes, drivetrain, and interior are in top condition with the only minus being the runny clear coat [really is not too bad though- just rating harsh because it's mine]

value 11/10 i have spent easily over $10,000 on this car through the years and the $4500 includes a full system [headunit, front components, rearspeakers, interior amp, and 2 10's in a custom box that is loud and light-this was over $2000 just here], the most complete s13 i have seen for sale, this car needs nothing and everything meets or exceeds your expectation, on top of that i am including $2200 of not installed parts-only reason it is so cheap is that my fiancee needs me to get a kid friendly car.
if you have any further questions, or want to drive it let me know at [email protected] or my cell phone at 630-440-2783
